ABC Moving Systems helped us do a short move in March from Thousand Oaks to Ventura. I used them two separate weekends. The truck is smaller - not the huge 18-wheelers that do the cross country moves, and we filled the truck both weekends. I do love that the truck has the little elevator lift so they simply wheel or carry an item onto the lift and push a button to go up (and then reverse to move items off the truck at your destination). They give you five wardrobe boxes free of charge for your use. I dont recall using them the first weekend, but I know we used them the second weekend. The crew was on time, courteous, friendly, and got the job done in a timely and professional manner. I had a three-man crew the first weekend and a two-man crew the second weekend. I feel that the prices charged were quite reasonable and the move was affordable. The only tiny quibble I have is that they did not wrap all wood furniture before placing on a dolly to go down the stairs or out to the truck - I believe most items were wrapped on the truck. I didnt like seeing my wooden Pottery Barn bedroom furniture coming down the stairs on a metal dolly with no padding of any kind. That said, I noted only minor scuffs on furniture, no major damage. There was a lamp put on the truck at the last minute that I dont believe was wrapped, and one of the shades broke. I had been taking all the lamps in my car so that probably should not have gone on the truck in the first place. But hey, I broke two lamps transporting them in my car. I believe a few of my plastic bins put on the truck ended up with smashed lids or smashed bottoms due to the weight of the stacked bins - but everything arrived at the destination, and as far as moves go, the amount of damage was absolutely trivial. I have never had a move, whether cross-country with professional packers putting everything in bubble wrap - or a toss-stuff-in-the-car-and-go type move - where something was not damaged. In my book, ABC Moving Systems came out way ahead in the percentages. Given the reasonable costs and the timely manner of the moves, I would choose them again without hesitation. I did my own packing, but the guys were nice enough to tape up some untaped boxes for me without charging me a packing fee. I appreciated that. They were also very good about disassembling and then reassembling furniture at the destination, particularly bedframes and desk/china cabinets with hutches. They took extra time to help me stabilize a mirror that mounts on my bureau and even helped me remove an in the way bracket from a stud in the garage. They were careful to position the furniture where I asked them to, and delivered the vast majority of the packed boxes to the correct rooms at the destination house. If you are considering them for a local move, look no farther.

ABC Moving Systems is wonderful! I was very thorough in my search for the right movers. My company had pressing deadlines near our move, and I needed movers who were going to be able to help us pack and move with as little disruption as possible. Rich came and gave me a very thorough estimate, telling me what it would cost pack everything without any help from us, move it to the new building, and get us reset. He also came back a second time with no hesitation to redo my estimate just to set my mind at ease when I called to confirm it! Donald, Jason, and Ernesto were fabulous during our pack. The team was respectful, helpful, and very cheerful. They took initiative without overstepping, and were very mindful of my time and property. The move day, lead by Jim, was terrific as well. The movers good attitudes were infectious and I had a smile on my face all day. They helped me get everything right where I needed it, and could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be using this company again. Their professionalism and enthusiasm were such a relief during a stressful project. Well done ABC!!!

We recently move our office to a nearby location. It was big job with no shortage of large and very heavy items, narrow passages, glass surfaces and stairs. We initially chose ABC Moving because they were the quickest company in providing us with a site visit and an estimate, but we were ultimately very impressed with their crew and professionalism. They arrived early with two trucks and completed a sizeable move in less than the time anticipated. Jason was the Crew Chief and he is truly great. Very organized, experienced and helpful. ABC Moving is very lucky to have him. His team: Cameron, Erni, Jason M. and Chris was second to none. We found all the guys to be extremely professional and courteous. This was a seasoned team of professionals, trained and experienced. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving a home or an office. You will not be disappointed.

Ive used ABC 4 times in the past 4 years. (Dont ask!) That in itself should be considered a recommendation. However, they did something (good) that even the most reputable companies might not have done under any circumstances. But ABC Moving did. During the move, my 80inch TV was cracked, even though it was properly wrapped. I had the full coverage insurance -- had a repairman come out and deem the TV unfixable -- submitted the original receipt and broken TV photos to the insurance company - and the insurance company decided that they wouldnt pay because there was a lack of outside physical damage. ABC Moving paid the claim anyway -- out of their own pockets. They are honest, reputable, careful, nice and a company that I would do business with again, everytime (though I hope not to be moving anytime soon!!)

On January 15, 2016, I used ABC Moving Systems to move some items out of a storage locker in LA. Stressful for me - I am in North Carolina and was arranging a move in California. Also, I had to trust ABC as I FedExd them the only key to the storage locker that I had. I also had to trust them to leave the storage locker totally clean as it was going to be inspected before I could close it down. On top of all that, I had to trust them to pack up the boxes and securely deliver them to UPS, make out the shipping tags for all of the boxes, and give them to UPS to ship across the country to me. Guess what? It could not possibly have gone better. ABC Moving Systems is completely professional, reasonably priced and unquestionably reliable, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I recently moved from Los Angeles to the Inland Empire and chose ABC Moving Systems due to the positive reviews on Yelp and other sites. I wasnt disappointed! Lev and Vasia were fast, professional, courteous and careful - everything you would hope for when making a move. I had a number of plastic boxes with old magazines from a previous job in the publishing industry, some of which had cracked due to the weight of the magazines - so bad that I couldnt move them around the office myself without feeling the boxes would break. I told the guys not to worry about them if they were going to be a problem - next thing I knew they were wrapped up with plastic and in their van. All in all a great company to go with if you are looking and I would definitely use them again in the future.
