This moving and storage company is a scam. Be careful, I think all these people who gave positive feedback are probably associated or paid to give positive feedback. The removialist came on 13/10/2015 to move my furniture from St Kilda to Dandenong. One person was friendly and the other was bossy. I paid $400.00 for this and while moving furniture they damage my timber wardrobe, mattress and bed. I complaint this to the company and spoke to the lady called Emily. Emily was a nut job and when I asked them to claim it via their insurance. Emily said I need to pay $350.00 excess to their insurance company. I send following email and NEVER GOT ANY RESPOND: MY QUESTIONS IS IN CAPITAL LETTERS As per your T&C: 9.2 Our Damage Only. Where You or a person with Your agreement participate/s in the move,(Me and my friend never participated in lifting damaged furniture) We are not liable for any damage not caused by Us. We will only be liable for loss or damage resulting from Our negligence (That’s what I pointed in almost all my emails, THAT YOU ARE LIABLE FOR THE DAMAGES), and in any event that liability will be limited to $1000 per item. 9.3 Option to Compensate. In lieu of repairing Goods We have the option to compensate You to the value of the damaged Goods prior to the damage occurring. If that value cannot be agreed on between Us (WE NEVER CAME AT THIS POINT BECAUSE YOU ARE TAKING PLEASURE IN NOT SETTLING THE CLAIM AND DODGING THE LIABILITY OF THE DAMAGE OCCURED BY YOUR MOVERS) it shall be assessed by a licensed auctioneer independent valuer chosen between Us and, if We cannot agree, chosen by the President for the time being of the Law Institute of Victoria (or any replacement body). The costs of the valuer shall be borne equally. 9.4 You will bear the first $350 of any claim made (THIS POINT IS CONTRADICTORY TO THE POINT 9.2. AS PER AUSTRALIAN COMPANY LAW IF THE DAMAGE OCCURRED BY A COMPANY THEN THEY ARE LIABLE TO SETTLE/COMPENSATE FOR THE DAMAGES). 9.5 Repair Damage. We will repair damaged Goods to as near the condition prior to the damage occurring and these repairs will be arranged by Us. No responsibility is accepted for any other losses whatsoever including any consequential loss or loss of value as a result of the repairs. (IF THE REPAIRER DAMAGED OTHER STUFF WHILE REPAIR YOU AND THE REPAIRER ARE NOT LIABLE ???) I need to deal with the OWNER or Supervisor, had enough with your unprofessional behavior and reply’s. If you are taking any legal advice from a lawyer please consult with them before replying. I called them several times no answer, no replies from Owner or any authority. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!! This review is based on our move during August 2010 from one apt in Marina del Rey to another in Marina del Rey. We literally moved down the street, not even a mile apart. We had a two bedroom, two bath apartment. We had everything packed and even moved most of our things to the new apartment before the guys arrived, thinking this would save time and cut down on the cost. The only things that were left to move were the big items and about 10 boxes. 3 guys came to help with the move and they literally dragged this out over the course of 8 hours!! It was UNBELIEVEABLE the pace they were going. Theyd go downstairs (all 3) and we wouldnt see them for nearly 30 minutes to 45 minutes at a time. We even came to the point where wed have one of us upstairs and another downstairs just so these guys would actually work. Again, UNBELIVEABLE!! We felt completely RIPPED OFF by this company. Whats even worse, after the move, we noticed that THINGS WENT MISSING. Of course they stole things that you wouldnt notice b/c they are smaller items. They had to unscrew the bike lights in order to take them. This only costed about $15, but the things is:YOU DONT STEAL!!!! We noticed this missing right after the move b/c we took our bikes out the afternoon before and we had our bikes in the apartment where no one else could get to them. So go figure... Anyhow, we hope this review helps other customers avoid the pains (financially and emotionally) that comes with this company -- as if moving isnt painful enough already!!

This is my third time using them in the last 7 years (once for residential and twice for commercial moves). That should tell you a lot about about this moving company. We just moved our office again and Jimmy and his crew were true professionals, packed, padded and plastic wrapped all of our furniture and assembled it again. Nothing was broken and the entire process was a breeze and on time. The service has been consistently five stars in all three moves. The entire staff at 123 is spectacular and caring. By far, the best movers you can hire in LA for residential and commercial moving.

I used 123 Moving and Storage to move out of my college apartment. It was on the second story and I wasnt going to hurt my back again trying to move the couches down the stairs so I sought professional help. I forgot to pack my closets and they came with these boxes that had a rack inside of them and simply placed my hanger items on this rack and they were able to do it pretty quickly. My move was overall quick and effortless, and i will definitely hire them again when it is time to move.
