Unfortunately, this service is only as good as your local post office - which in our case sucks. We seem to be on a training route - and the mail is delivered at any hour of the day - and sometimes night. They also indicate [on the Amazon tracking link] that they have attempted delivery which isnt true in our case. Im guessing they do that rather than lose the contract. UPS also has a version of this delivery using the USPS - that sucks too but only because our local PO is terrible. Its almost worth the additional fee to skip the free shipping option if it avoids using the Post Office IMO.

Why do we have knuckleheads reviewing FEDEX SMARTPOST with comments that have NOTHING to do with FEDEX SMARTPOST? Google shouldnt allow it, but I think Google may have more hope for our society than whats really there. The events over the past year or so highlights how Americans are getting dumber... and Dumber!

Shipment is no where to be found on the scheduled delivery date. FedEx tracking shows it enroute to the local post office. USPS tracking has no record of the package. What a joke. I will not buy from a company that uses SmartPost in the future.

As a trucker, loading at this facility is a breeze if your load is ready. Guards are polite, and take care of the paperwork. No parking inside if your load is not ready. We have dropped our empty trailer and parked on the street bobtail.

Fedex SmartPost isnt so smart. My package bounced around three SmartPost locations in the Los Angeles area and arrived at the USPS office near me a couple of days lat.
