They have their board meeting near the 7th steet Metro Station in LA every month. You can go and comment for 3 minutes or call and do so by phone. Search for LA Care Board Meeting to verify dates, usually first Thur of month at 2pm They promised they would peer review the rotten doctors who Care 1st put her with and I dont believe theyve done anything! My daughter died and I believe the erratic care she received being transferred back and forth because of capitation contributed to damaging her health. They are forcing HMOs on disabled people and then forcing the to be tramsferred back and forth, compromising their care they assigned our severly autistic daughter to doctors who lied to us and told us our daughter didnt have a deadly clot on her brain when she had already been diagnosed with by 6 independent doctors. It was successfully removed at Keck USC. LA Care is knowingly sending patients to unsafe and I believe possibly substance abusing doctors (they should test their hair strands where it stays for months or years). We are now complaining to the Dept of Developmental Services because my daughters rights under the Lanterman Act were violated.

The biggest waste of time Ive ever experienced in my life. Incompetent people who have little to no education are running this company. The level of service is disgusting and they should not be allowed to continue providing services. The department of consumer affairs needs to intervene. I went from full coverage one month to a random closure of my health plan the next month. No reason apart from "sorry were not sure why" contact medical. I cannot obtain health care from my doctor, nor can I get my medication. Dont waste your time with these fools, they are useless!!

Excellent customer service, always returned my calls and were always helpful. SAID NO ONE EVER! Paid for a policy that was inactive, customer service team couldnt speak directly to financial department to restore service despite the fact I already paid. Spent two weeks with no insurance. Ended up with a refund however I had to do it through Visa dispute.

I just unenrolled! This was by far the absolute worst experience ever. No one ever available when I called. I was disconnected more than once and they insisted I go to a doctor where I had a bad experience. NEVER CHOOSE THIS OPTION. THE SHOULD BE CALLED: LA DOESNT CARE. It is unfortunate I was unable to give the.no stars like they deserve!

L.A. CARE is CRAP!! TWICE they have given me doctors for my kids and then when I get the Med cards for them, call the doctors office, the doctor doesnt even take L.A. CARE!!! They have been a big waste of my time. This pisses me off especially when one of the kids is sick and I find this out.

Worst customer service in the universe. you call them and give all your information and they put you on hold and after 30 min it will be disconnected! They are not 24/7 because they ALWAYS say call tomorrow when you call after hour.
