Been going here for years, overall its a gym with a great value. Its cheap (I believe it starts at $12 a month plus starting fees) but it doesnt have the restrictions on weight equipment that some gyms like Chuze or Planet Fitness has. There is a small community of amateur bodybuilders that go here, with some of them being employees, so those lax policies on bodybuilding wont go away. Some issues are just the fact that they need another power rack (they only have one) and that they need to expand. Ive been going there for years now and they have grown in membership but havent bought the empty space next door as it was rumored they would. It would help immensely because the gym can get very crowded, and make it awkward to find a spot to workout. Overall though, fantastic for the price!

I simply love this gym. I used to go the L.A. fitness and thought I liked it there, but it got to expensive and had to cancel my membership. I kept on receiving promotional mailers and finally decided to use a 7 day pass to try Fitness 19 out, When my 7 day pass was over,I never got harassed into joining or pressured into hiring a trainer unlike some other gyms (L.A. fitness) I ended up joining and have enjoyed every moment of it. The staff and trainers are great. I have had two trainers offer me a free workout without any pressure for me to hire them. Stan at the door is very friendly and somehow remembers every members name ( I can barely remember my kids names) The gym is always clean and people are always very courteous. I strongly recommend this gym to everyone .

Was a bit skeptical when I first walked into this gym. Expected high pressure sales pitch but got the exact opposite. The gym itself is a cardio workout dream. Plenty of treadmills, stationary bikes, stair masters, and elliptical machines. I go during non-peak times and never have to wait. Plenty of strength training equipment as well. The facility is clean and the air conditioning is cranked up. Music is decent but not my style. Lots of TVs as well.

Other than the lack of showers and early closing hours on weekends, I dont really have much to complain about this place. Its clean, staff are friendly, and even though its really small, its never really crowded surprisingly. However I am starting to look at a Costco 24 hr. Fitness package only because I like to go during odd hours on the weekends, and I now plan to workout before work, which means I need a facility with showers.

Cheap, not too crowded, casual crowd, equipment that accommodates beginning to advanced fitness levels, competitively priced personal training. Terrible EDM playlist, only one squat rack, no lifting platforms (but there is a loose barbell for deadlifts or Olympic lifts), not much floor space for ab work or bodyweight exercises

I dont understand the music. Its not even like that cheesy high energy stuff. The music is what I would describe as Latin/ Chicano pop with accordions and lasers... lyrics are sung in Spanish. I dont have very much data for my phone plan so Im bummed I cant stream music. Facility is clean though. 2 stars for that ...

I work out here, but I really do have to complain about the hours of operation. 7 on Saturday and Sunday? If I cant make it by then I have to skip a workout, which no one wants to do..... Investors! Management! Please change your hours to 7-10 on weekends! Whats an extra 3 hours a day?

Ive been to ballys, 24 hour fitness, YMCA...and none of them come close to the level of customer service and satisfaction you get out of this fitness 19 location. The trainers here are very knowledgeable and affordable. And best of all no contract and monthly dues are cheap.

This gym is always clean & never crowded. I did hear that they were to expand but that never happened. The reason its a 4 star is because there are no showers, awkward dressing room location & no real space to use a mat or floor exercises.

Lowest prices Ive ever seen at a gym. The only reason I dont go here anymore is that its too far from my house. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but its a gym and its really affordable.

Cool place to get it in after work on weekdays and at your own pace on weekends. Timing is key though. Quaint facility with some eclectic workout music.
