My 16 year old daughter has been dancing at Dance and Cheer Stars since she was in second grade. She has been dancing competitively for five years now. Her older sisters has cheered for the Cheer Stars team for two years. My grand-daughter has danced at the studio for three years now. Our entire family has enjoyed the experiences and opportunities given to our family through dancing, cheering and learning at Paul and Harmonys studio. Harmonys direction has taught my older girls so much more than dance and cheer but has taught them life lessons and characteristics they will take well into their adult lives. They have learned organization, respect (for themselves and for others), how to work hard giving 100% and service to their community in giving back and sharing. Cheering and dancing competitively my girls have learned teamwork and working with grace under pressure. Harmony has guided my 16 year old encouraging her as she hopes to continue dancing well after high school and college. She has pointed her towards opportunities to do just that and even to her very first professional dance gig dancing at the Stockton Trolley Dances event with the New Dance Company.

I enrolled my enthusiastic 3 yr old daughter into Harmony Flores dance studio because my daughter wanted to be a cheerleader. I was new to the area, and despite other soccer moms telling me I shouldnt trust this studio, I did, and will always regret it. I paid thousands of dollars for my daughters outfits, lessons, and hotel rooms @ nationals only to have Harmony steal the money from my family. She kicked my daughter off of the team for being sick and refused to pay. I took her to court over a year ago, won the case and she still hasnt paid. The only thing she had to say for herself, was flipping me the finger (how professional huh?). She broke my baby girls heart. Her lack of modesty is nothing to desire either. After receiving the very expensive outfit, there was a huge piece of stiff plastic in the crotch are of the shorts for hip hop. I asked for it to be fixed because it would hurt my very innocent little girl, and Harmonys reply was "she cant just where it for a minute?". I stated that no she couldnt, especially since she didnt want any panties or nylons worn underneath. A horrible dance studio. Very trashy.

My daughter has been a Dance Star for ten years. I have watched her grow and improve every year as a member of the competition team.The competition kids are required to maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average and do community service. The competition team teaches the children about working hard as a team and giving back, all characteristics they an take through life. Harmony, the owner is very dedicated to all of the children who attend the studio and it is well organized. It is easy for people to have uninformed opinion about costumes and music selection if they have never attended a competition. Harmony is obviously doing something right for the past ten years because her studio continues to grow each year with new and returning students. She has also assisted students in achieving their goals as professional dancers who have gone on to work for Disney, Raiders, 49ers, Sacramento Kings and the Warriors. No other studio in town or the central valley has achieved this.

Dance and Cheer Stars is such a wonderful place for girls and boys to learn the art of dance. I was fortunate enough to be able to watch the students grow, be confident and to become shining super stars!!! I love each and every student that I was able to meet and watch grow in the past 2 + years. The dancing instructors are absoultely the BEST!!!! The owners Harmony and Paul strive to teach community involvement, and provide excellent instruction to every student who attends the classes. I love Dance and Cheer Stars and feel blessed to have been introduced to all family which includes the owners, teachers, students and parents. Love you all, Sandy

I would not recommend this dance studio to my worst enemy. In my opinion, they dress the competition girls in provocative outfits. Last year I went to one of their performances in Ripon. the competition team was dancing to the song "poppa dont preach" by madonna. There was a bed on stage, and the young girls were dancing around it provocative outfits. We all know that the song is about a 16 year old girl that gets pregnant. With all the child predators in the world, and the fact that the performances are open to the public, concerns me. Do we really need to teach our children that it is okay to dress and perform like that to get attention? I think not!!!!

I myself was a competitive dancer at the studio when I was younger and loved every minute! Now my 2 daughters follow in my footsteps and dance here, and both just love it!! Best teachers and dancers at this studio. This is like a family to us :)

im a dancer and this studio has provided me with many things and has taught me lots of tricks and moves also people who dont agree probaly dont know what they are talking about. harmony also provides many things for this studio

i would definitely reccommend this studio it is the best in town i am a dancer and i learn a lot at dance and cheer stars
