Nightmare of an experience at this gym!! Was "accidentally" charged for a plan that I did not sign up for. Contacted various staff members at the gym including two managers who said that they would refund me the amount in my next months bill, never happened. Gave the 30 day notice and canceled my membership but for some reason Im still being charged the monthly dues!! Just got off the phone with a "manager"(every employee at this gym seems to be one) and he said that my account was never canceled even though I received a receipt of the cancellation in my email! Poor quality machinery, rude employees & terrible customer service...Ive been to quite a few gyms and Fitness Evolution(Milpitas) is by far the worst Ive seen or ever heard of so far. There is a 24 Hour Fitness a little further down the road. My little brother works out there and theyve got great customer service, new weights and machinery, great deals, and an awesome gym vibe & environment.

TL;DR quick summary-dangerous equipment not repaired despite multiple requests. Ive been a member for many years, the price is nice but it comes with risks. For example, a particular treadmill would recently slip/catch when walking...over a number of days the following happened: 1. Notified staff, friendly but no out of order sign placed despite assurances. 2. Notified second staff, friendly but no out of order sign placed despite assurances. 3. Notified regional manager: Friendly, watched the problem happen, out of order sign finally placed. 4. Out of order signed later removed, problem not fixed. Treadmill still slips/catches when walking. Despite continual warnings concerns voiced to club staff and management, a dangerous treadmill remains a problem. Hopefully no one is injured due to this gross negligence. This is not the first time the gym has been unable/unwilling to identify immediately and put out of service malfunctioning equipment.

This place is horrible! It only even recieved one star because i had too, if I had it my way there would be NO star!!!! This place is not only dirty but all the equipment is old and what they have to choose from is very little not to mention most is usually broken, ugh! The biggest issue I had with them is when my contract was up I tried to end it and I would continue to see deductions from them in my bank account and when confronted they always had an excuse about some kind of fee....thieves, scams, you call it what you want but it is very unprofessional. I hope nobody else has to deal with the BS from them. Sorry I had to be so harsh but continue to charge me is crossing the line and everyone should know what they will end up dealing with.

I went to this location when they used to be Fitness for 10. However they keep charging me every month despite the fact that I havent been there for over two years (I no longer live in the local area). I have asked them politely on three separate occasions to remove my billing information from their database to stop them from charging me but they still charge me regardless. For the most part the associates are nice but upper management only seems to care about profit and does not care about business ethics in obtaining said profits.

I work out here all the time because it is close to my job and its very affordable. Even though I come here during peak workout hours, the gym is never usually that crowded. This makes it easier to get in and out because you never have to wait too long to use the machines. Although it can be a tad confusing since certain machines are in certain rooms and you might have to look around in order to find the machine you need. Also, the bathrooms could use some TLC. But other than that, I am very satisfied with this gym!

Rachel the manager at this place has absolutely NOT customer service skills ,she is rude, inpolite,and unprofessional.I wasnt sure about canceling my evofiit class, so I came to the gym to discuss it,but she didnt even ask me the reason why I wanted to cancel, Neither she offered me different options, instead she told me right away that if I didnt pay , she was going to send me to collection.oh WOW! I was very unhappy with the poor costomer servese I got from her...Hey Rachel I really think that this job is not for you.

The locker room here is generally dirty, today it was disgusting. The two monkeys on staff cared more about their phones than whatever there job was. I typically go to wherever fitness evolution is closest being I travel throughout the bay, Ive had issues with rude staff here, the water pressure is sporadic in the showers & as previously mentioned not the cleanest place. Generally fitness evolution is better with room for improvement but the Milpitas location is consistently the worst.

Horrible place. Please stay away from this place. Break-ins have happened in the parking lots. Staff is extremely casual about keeping with schedules, as a result, I have encountered frequent no-shows and was forced to re-schedule. A complete waste of my time. Please dont ever sign into the personal training program, it pretty much locks you for the duration of the contract, no excuses. Again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM!!!

This gym is a good place to work out, they have pretty good deals. The only problem is their customer service, Im talking about the manager by the name of Concheta. This lady is rude and doesnt know how to deal with customers. She yells at their employees in front of the customers and last time I was there she gave me a hard time because I brought a guess. Im not sure if I want to continue to be a member there.

This gym is suck. First, they charges me 2 times for initial fee. Called them, and they said they will send me a check, but it is 7 weeks already, i have not received anything. Second, the equipments are old and scratched, there are not much equipment. Third, there is no private showers, and the locker is so small. Want to cancel my membership. This is a bad gym i have ever had

Re-reviewed concerning Fitness Evolution. Do not go there! Do not sign up their contract - they will continue to siphon a recurring fee even after some months of cancellation. It may be nice to go in and use the service stated as 9.99. It turns into 14.99 almost instantly and the yearly fee on top will bullwhip you. Dont go there for the service. Its terrible!

Not even worth the $10. They also need a 30 day written notice to quit their gym. "Attached is a copy of our cancellation form. Please fill it out and send it to the address on the form. Remember that it does take 30 days from its postmark date to be completely terminated and that all dues from be paid off or it will be sent to collections"

Affordable gym. Sales folks are not aggressively promoting upgrades as 24hr fitness. Partially renovated facility. Equipment easily available in the mornings when I work out. Good sauna but no steam room or swimming pool. Bathroom soap is unavailable many times due to some or the other reason. Ugh. Keep your own soap as a backup.

Inexpensive. Maintains their equipment well for the most part. Bathrooms are often filthly with blocked and overflowing toilets. Frequently run out of paper towels, cleaning spray, or both. Trainers and staff are friendly and helpful, but are prone to bouts of shocking vulgarity when they dont think members are nearby.
