The Office Max store/chain is deceptive and customer unfriendly. They advertise specials, without any disclaimers of "limited to stock on hand" and half hour after their doors open they sell (the only 5 in stock) out and dont honor their advertised prices. They want you to sign up for their rewards program only to sell off all your info. The rewards program is a nightmare too, who has the manpower to waste managing it? And ...good luck actually getting full rewards points. I gave them a second chance to see if they had changed. They havent. Ill be taking by business back to Staples...they value my time & input as a business owner.

Love their notebook and pen selection! I am kind of obsessed with office supplies and was extremely sad when the El Toro location in Laguna Woods closed down, but this location is great!!! Pretty close to Saddleback College and you can get way better stuff than at the bookstore for half the cost :)

Products & Price were great! Staff and customer service was THE WORST! Stood at the counter while the guy walked back and forth in front of me, didnt look at me, didnt greet me or say anything (like, Ill be right with you). Totally lazy, rude and put out that he had to help me.

Its exactly what you expect from OfficeMax. It is no frills, dated look, but it has everything you need office related. I would go to an electronics store to look at tablets and PCs though. They only have a minimal selection.

The print staff was over worked but really helpful. They didnt mind me using one of the two cutting boards for about an hour. The cashiers were helpful too in making sure I got credit for an expired coupon.

They are the most help. when you need help finding something or information, their knowledgeable staff will assist you in a flash! Better yet, they dont make you feel pressured by hovering over you!

If you need to go to an OfficeMax that is not crowded, this is the ticket. You can always get help. Good for printing, but dont expect a call back when your order is ready -- if you ask for one.
