Really disappointed in this agency. The receptionist was rude, but I think the staffing agents took the cake in rudeness especially Kayla. I had a bad feeling about Kayla when she sent me an email the day before arriving to the interview pretty much threatening that if I’m late to the interview or don’t show up I will forever be banned from any opportunities from PrideStaff as her time is extremely valuable. I was thinking to myself OKAY what an extremely large ego on this woman. I didn’t know she wielded such power. I’ve never had anyone from a staffing agency send me an email and just low key threaten a potential candidate like that. Really uncomfortable. So I arrive to the agency and my feeling was correct about her. She was just so rude and disrespectful and I can hear her and the other agents making fun of a candidate like her old age or and the way she dressed. Kayla also looked at my resume and told me since I haven’t worked in two months PrideStaff will not be able to find me anything. If that was the case she could have told me that over the phone or simply not call me instead of wasting my time. She probably used that as an excuse and didnt like the way I looked either. Luckily another agency with nice people didn’t look down on me and had no problem finding me a job right away.

I have been enrolled with this temp agency for almost 3 months and have not been contacted or offered any job opportunities. I have asked if my assessmebt testing scores and experience were not up to par for the clients they employ for, because I understand not everybody will fit the profile for the the type of employers they help, and I was told that I had relevant experience and good testing scores for the clients they tend to hire for and yet I have not been considered for a single job opportunity. I use to call or email them 2-3 times a month and check in and let them know that I am still actively looking for work but I have gave up on working with this temp agency. I understand that when you first apply they may not have an opportunities that fit your needs or experience but I cannot believe that in almost 3 months that there has not been a single opportunity that I could have been considered for. Especially when I see that they post clerical job fairs on Craigslist every week on Thursdays from 2pm-4pm. If they do not have many if any job opportunities available why do they host a job fair every week. I am now enrolled with a different temp agency, who within one day had sent my resume to a client.

I came in the other day to apply for a local job that insisted to me that they do all their hiring through PrideStaff. PrideStaff told me to go online to post my resume and apply and I did so. I immediately called PrideStaff to see if I can get into to the company and they told me that I needed recent work in the field that I applied for. I have 7-10 years experience in shipping/ receiving but havent worked in a warehouse consistently since 07. I usually work tech jobs but Im no certified and a lot of shops since the fall of the economy to dont hire guys like me. The only reason why Im applying for warehouse jobs/ shipping receiving is because I can pretty much do them with both hands behind my back. How are people supposed to get back on their feet if every employer is looking for reasons not to put people to work? This economy will never be repaired if a whole lot of businesses act this way.

I came to an open interview with my resume and 2 forms of ID and dressed for an interview. I sat there for 2hrs and finally when I was about to give up and leave thats when someone asked if I been helped... I said no but I was told to wait here and someone would help me and so this lady gave me a packet to fill out I did she asked a few questions (she was very rude) and said give us a call every week to see if we have something? I walked out of that office in tears I never in my life felt like crap. I called a few times left messages never got a call back. I will never subject myself to a place like pridestaff ever again. Maybe if your company was that selective over the people they send out on jobs they can be extra selective of the people they hire to represent there company because the rudeness and making people feel like crap is not cool.

Uneducated, uninformed, poorly organized, operation. Only thing they are good at is wasting peoples time. When in for a "mechanical assembly" job had me fill out a online app. Then go in and fill out a stack of papers. Watched some random video, had me wait in a room for 15minutes then they came in told me I didnt have enough recent experience for the job. 10yrs automotive assembly line worker, 6 years as a master technician. Been out of work for 2 years and they think that in 2 years I forgot how to use hand tools? Ridiculous. Do not waste your time giving them your personal information that they are probably selling.

When you do your part in calling every week to follow-up, they should at least do their part in remembering you. They did nothing but lie to me and give me the run around. One day they called me for a job, which I said I was interested in, then never heard from them again. Even when I tried calling for more info, they had none and couldnt remember calling me. Or once they told me they had no work, then a guy got on the phone with two job offers. It might be a great agency, but only for a select few areas of work out there, not all.

Horrible experience here. Scheduled to attend a job fair with lots of jobs listed. I went in, scored great on all my exams, went through the interview process just to be told there was nothing available. I have emailed them 3 times as well as reached out by phone with no reply. The women in the office were very unpleasant, unprofessional and actually sat gossiping about potential clients that were in the conference rooms openly enough that I heard them while completing my paperwork...I will never waste my time here again.

They are great! I moved from Sacramento about 6 weeks ago and came here to see if I can get work asap. The staff was very caring and professional. The receptionist Carissa was thorough and helpful and Michelle helped to find me a job with the perfect schedule within a week! The following Monday I was working! worst ever. they wont even let u have a worker to acctually tlk to when you call you get there dumb receptionist that dont eve n look at ypur experience just says call and well plavce u i have been down there multiple timw and never got placed this place is horrible and needs better workers and more places to work at besides mercer foods because thats the only job they ever sent you to.
