Came in for a celebration dinner with my fiancé. We have eaten here on many occasions and will never be coming back after our last and most current visit. When we first arrived we checked in with the hostess on staff for Friday night. She had indicated it would be a 30min wait to be seated which we did not argue cause the restaurant seemed on the busy side. After 40 mins we were paged to come stand by the hostess desk (standard procedure). But after waiting an additional 15mins and watching people that were paged after us be sat we asked the same hostess how much longer. A second hostess by the name of Lisa working the seating computer stated she had put us on hold because we never turned in our pager... Come to find out surprising enough we did turn in our page and the other hostess even recalled us giving her the pager 15mins prior. When we were finally seated our table wasnt cleaned and no silverware or napkins were present. Since this exact series of events had taken place on our last visit as well, involving the same staff members, we will not be returning here again and suggest the readers of this dont either.

Very bad service! We put in for a party of 6 at 7:34 (allegedly ticket was not created until 7:38). Were told that it would be about 30 minutes. After 18 minutes we came back from shopping. At 8:05, I checked on the wait; i was told that we were already called (would then have been sooner than 14 minutes) as we were back at cheese cake factory at 7:52. At 8:05 pm checked on status; was told that we were already buzzed and that we would have to be put back in the list from the beginning. Neeess to say, several other tables of 5, 6, and even 12 were seated before us that arrived after we came back from shopping at 7:52. To make matters worse, the young lady at the front with a tatoo on her arm above the elbow lied a few times- including that the parties seated before us ofthe same size were wIting for 90 minutes. Ine, its not true, Further it doesnt even make sense given the fact tbat we were alkegecly called adter 14 minutez. No apology from the manager. Just bs frim everyone. Terribly run Restaurant.

Waited double the wait time initially given. Manager didnt even try to set up alternative seating to accomodate our party. Instead said that we had to wait for the section usually used for large parties. When I asked if we could sit in a huge empty section of restaurant and sit near each other, the manager said no because there is no server for that area. He seemed as if he couldnt care less, so I went next door to CPK and explained the situation to their manager, whom agreed to take care of our party. When I returned to The Cheesecake Factory, the manager all of sudden was able to get me a table, which I politely declined. Thank goodness for CPK, The Cheesecake Factory almost ruined my familys night.

My family and I visited CF this weekend. The wait was quite long but understandable as we had a very large group. We were shown to our seats by a lovely young lady who was very engaging and seemed genuinely interested in our experience. Our wait staff was very courteous, professional and fun. We ordered a round of cocktails and everyone was happy with their choices. I had an amazing Blood Orange Mojito. The food was great and again the staff was attentive gave us plenty of space and privacy. Kudos to the entire team. Thanks for accommodating us.

Im pretty disappointed in this location. They didnt even attempt to accommodate our party but rather split us up into several tiny groups all over the empty restaurant. It was a Sunday morning and there were so many tables open. Ive been a server at a restaurant for several years so understand the trouble accommodating, but come on. Your excuse is that the servers for that section arent in yet? Also, you then sit us next to the window where we can see into the kitchen where we can see you complaining about us, that reflects poorly on you.

Every time I go to Cheesecake Factory, the menu is overwhelming. Not only have I eaten there many times on the East Coast, this was my first experience on the West Coast. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING I have ever tried from Cheesecake Factory has been incredible; perfectly cooked pasta, sirloin steaming with flavor, only the freshest ingredients. And what makes CFs location in Newport Beach so unique is the incredible view of the most beautiful beaches in So Cal. Even the night offers a distinct relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Our server was more interested in chatting with friends than waiting on us. We could not get refills on drinks. It was like we were invisible. After we had been finished for several minutes, she cleared our dishes. Then we waited over 15 minutes for our bill. After waiting another 15 to 20 minutes, we gave up on her coming back where we could pay with a card and payed with cash. We left very dissatisfied with the service. We have been to Cheesecake Factories all over and have never been treated so poorly as we were at yours.

This was the first cheesecake factory I ever was at. Over the years there is something I have come to know about cheesecake factory. They really should just be a dessert spot. They have such a wide range of foods, that none of them are that great. I usually end up getting a burger because it is cheaper, and you cant mess up a burger. They are about their huge portion sizes with mediocre food. Their cheesecake is good though. get it ala mode.

They seated us at a three seat table even though we had four people and there was a four person table available. There were customers making rude unfounded comments about our group. The wait staff were being rude and overall the environment felt hostile. After all this we decided we would only leave a small tip and the waiter complained to our face! This was not a good visit I am very disappointed with the newport cheesecake factory.

The last time we were here the staff were extremely rude. We were with my great grandmother who is hard of walking and when we asked for a seat they were very rude about getting one from just fifteen feet away. When we were finally seated the service was good but the waiter forgot some things on our order. The food was very good so it made up for some of the poor service but overall the experience was mediocre at best.

My son wanted to propose here because it was where they had their first date, I showed up on a Saturday night to set things up and of course it was WALL TO WALL people!! But our waitress-MCKENZIE B(I WISH Id remembered her first name!) got me the celebration cheesecake to surprise my new daughter in law with-and took it to her! It was FANTASTIC!! Thank you McKenzie B for making our night special!
