I have never wrote a review for any business, But the service I received at Maaco in North Highlands is unbelieveable. I took my wifes 1981 Datsun 280ZX to Maaco on Watt Ave in North Highlands for a complete paint job. My wife has had the car since high school and the car is very special to her. The car was in bad shape due to being 30 yrs old. I did extensive research of different body & paint shops. (Honestly Maaco was NOT on my radar. I thought, You get what you pay for at Maaco.) I was wrong!!! Prior to choosing, I went to a couple of local car shows and asked the car owners where they had their cars painted. A few car owners had their cars painted at Maaco North Highlands. I was shocked when they told me the prices paid and seen the FANTASTIC job that was done. I expected it to cost much more. I took our car to Maaco to have the car painted back to original factory color. When I picked up the car I could not believe it was the same car I dropped off. It looks better then when my wife bought it 30 yrs ago! My wife is sooooo happy and so am I. Tom and Sam run a business based on customer service and quality work. Thank you both for the fantastic job on our car. I will recommend Maaco in North Highlands to everyone that I know in need of quality body/paint work done to their vehicle at a fair price. Not all Maacos are the same, This one is top notch! Again, I dont normally write reviews, but this Maaco deserves one. Thank you Sam & Tom of "Maaco North Highlands" Signed "Big Pete"

I own a Shop here in Citrus Heights (Econo Lube N Tune & Brakes) - From small blemishes to collision repair, I have been using and referring North Highlands Maaco for years. Sometimes I have used them to help repair some damage that may have happened while a customer car has been in my shop (while this is a rare occurance, we are not perfect, but we own up and take responsibility) - of course I have many customers who need or want some work done & I refer them to Sam and Tom at Maaco - each and every time my customer has thanked me. Then Sam and crew handled the repair of my wifes Avalon after it got in the way of a Ford F150 - No hassle - they handled everything - from insurance paperwork to delivery to my shop with the car! As a business owner, I have to be careful who I refer people too as it is a reflection on me, if there are problems then I become part of them - but that is not the case with North Highlands Maaco - never a problem, only thanks for the referal -

11/26/2013 The clear coat had Deteriorated on my small black SUV. I stopped by this MAACO (7215 Watt Ave, North Highlands) and got an estimate from a nice lady (Heather, owner) I went home to study the paperwork and jot down any questions I needed to ask. In a couple of days I returned and talked to a gentleman (Bret, SupvMgr) and he answered all questions to my satisfaction. He told me he personally inspects all vehicles before they are returned to the customer. I also learned he used to work in the shop which made all the info he gave me very credible. I immediately decided this was the shop I could trust to paint my vehicle. I picked up my car on Nov 19, 2013. I was very impressed with the paint job and wish to thank all those who worked on my car for doing such an outstanding job.

I would honestly give a negative rating. I brought my truck in to be painted and was told they were slightly overbooked. It would be better to bring it back on the following Monday when they can book fewer jobs and get my vehicle back to me fast. I return the following Monday and drop my truck off like scheduled. A week later they still have not touched it. It went from taking 3 to 4 days to a week later telling me they could start in a few days. now I have been told Wednesday. I wont hold my breath. Go somewhere else that wont waist your valuable time.

Im very unhappy with the service at the North Highlands Maaco, Ive had to take my car back to them 3 times to get the paint right and there are still runs and dirt in the paint. I would not recommend the North Highlands Maaco.

I went here to get a 1/2 "deal" and sure enough here comes the clipboard for the add-ons. 150 to sand the spots on the roof. Then 150 for the hood. ( about 45 minutes total of prep) GET REAL WITH YOUR PRICES!!!!
