Not sure if some of these other reviews are fair. The gymnastics program here has been a great addition to my sons life. We have been taking him here since he was 2 and now is 3 1/2. He is learning many valuable social and life skills. How to pay attention, listen to instructions, be fair and take turns. The instructors are engaged and clearly have a passion for gymnastics. Of course your child is at risk of getting sick here. Any place though where there are dozens and dozens of children touching things will have the same issue though. It is no different at any park, day care, or family friendly restaurant. My only complaint (thus the 4 stars) is that they give themselves a lot of weekends off for Holidays or meets and it is my responsibility to know ahead of time and then reschedule him or lose credit for that week. It would be better if each 6 weeks they gave out a calendar showing the off days and when the make-up is so you could just plan accordingly ahead of time.

I have done gymnastics before, and I wanted to go back. I was a level 3 or 4, but there policy is that you must start in level 1. We took the trial class and they would not move me up until I did 2 classes. We asked for another free class, and they said no. You have to pay for an 8 week session. They also dont even care if you dont have the skill there practicing. The coaches are teens and look like they could care less.

Both of my children have enjoyed the tumble bugs program- its a wonderful environment for children to explore and try new things. Plus a great place to burn off energy, especially in the winter months. We recently attended a private birthday party here and it was wonderful! The staff was incredible (I believe it was Coach Nick) and the kids had such a blast!

The kids love it and the classes are great. The only warning I have is that if you take classes through the Petaluma Parks & Rec (a little less expensive), you will be treated like a redheaded stepchild. They want you to join the gym, which of course costs extra. Something to think about if you are on a budget.
