Extremely dirty gym (the bathrooms, floors, lockers). I once observed an open pack of Rolaids on one of the window ledges that remained there almost three months - it was hilarious and disgusting at the same time... Owner is a narcissist and his two Bettys he has running the place are highly inept and unprofessional. Equipment is extremely outdated and when equipment breaks (which is very often) it takes many many weeks to have it fixed..... They do not provide their new patrons any training in gym etiquette nor how to properly use the equipment.....So you constantly are having to deal with new memebers (a lot of turnover there) not knowing what to do or how to do it.... Youd be better served to join a "Real" fitness club such as 24 (one is being constructed in Milwaukie just a few miles away) or LA Fitness and get the most for your hard earned dollars spent. The final straw occurred today (returning from the bathroom) and this frail old man was racking the weights I had loaded (place wasnt busy at all) - My weight belt, gloves, water bottle were all on the bench....I stated I still had more sets on the equipment and that I had just returned from the restroom....Enough said when your "gym" isnt busy and you have some random person racking the weights with all your equipment right there... I informed the man once he identified himself as "the owner" that I (much like many of the members Ive known for over 4 years there) am leaving for 24 Hour Fitness and this made the owner angry.... Newsflash....Update and repair your outdated equipment (maybe even fix the leaking roof)....Many members will follow once the new 24 opens just a few miles down the road...Weve all been talking about it for months... Update: Seeing the "owners" response below solidifies my decision even more....Hurry up and open in Milwaukie 24 Hour Fitness!!!

The staff are friendly and helpful. It has everything I like and then some BUT........ It is desperately in need of cleaning and repairs. The showers are old and have mold under the soap dispenser (empty) and dust at the tops of the doors and slime on the walls etc. The ceiling has evidence of mold and bubbling and falling paint. Vents are filthy and look as if never cleaned. There are broken tiles where one would sit or set items. The same is true of the pool ceiling and vents. The bathroom should be checked more often and cleaned through out the day AND it had major grunge along the walls of the stalls. Someone should come in and mop more often as water was on the floors and someone could slip easily. The carpets could use cleaning and vacuuming more often and the fans in the ladies only workout space is broken and the mats to lay on to work out should be replaced as well. The treadmill is definitely worn but works well. It would be nice to see some money put into these areas by the owners. Maybe get a loan or a grant or something. I am not sure if there is a health inspection certification that needed or should be done or contacted. I would also not allow children in the pool after 9:00 pm and the parent must be in the pool with them and not hanging out in the hot tub while the children scream, yell, jump, splash and abuse the workout floating devices. There is definitely room for improvement.

This is my favorite gym in all of portland, and Ive been to many... All but three 24hr fitness locations, 4 la fits, 2 crunchs, 3 snaps, 2 eastside athletics, clackamas & mt. hood com. colleges gym, loprenzis, BR fitness, several cross fit gyms, both nautilus locations, and a few private gyms. Out of all these this is the best imo. Its small but they have a wide selections of free weights, several squat racks, a pool, hot tub, sauna, stream room, tanning beds, they have hot coffee, chilled drinks and protein shakes, TVs in the cardio area and music in the lifting area, hand sanitizer in several locations, they have a wide variety of bars and attachments for the many cable machines and everything is kept in top condition, Ive never seen a machine down for more than a day. The members here are all pretty cool and very diverse, there are many elderly folks and many high school kids, and many in between. Body type vary from the man who is bariatric and wheelchair bound but still wheeling himself in the gym between machines to the high school girl who is so skinny people must think she has an eating disorder but here she is trying to put on muscle hitting the weights with her high school buddys everyone is pretty much nice and it feels very judgment free. My wife is currently in transition MTF and she is a member as well and loves it we have never had any problems. I highly recommend Nautilus Plus OC

Nautilus Plus O.C. is the best gym I have looked at and been a member to. The staff is super friendly! They are all very welcoming and help assist me anytime I need help. The club is always clean and you never have to wait to get on any machines unlike some clubs. The classes are awesome! They have a large variety including Zumba and Yoga. I always meet new people each time I take the classes. This gym has everything I could ask for, and would never think about leaving.

I appreciate Nelsons Nautilus. They have good equipment, nice facilities, super hours, and great staff. Its a great value to our community. Ive been a member for 2 years. Sometimes slow to fix wifi or equipment, but its hard to complain where the value is so good. Jeff, Cody, and Derrick make you feel at home. Kind of like walking into Cheers, where they know your name. I highly recommend Nelsons Nautilus.

From the moment you walk in, the gym is depressing, crammed, old, and dirty. The childcare room is pretty much a closet with a few garage sale toys. And the prices are unbelievably high for what you actually get. Not sure on the classes since I didnt check out the room/annex across the parking lot. No one seemed too happy or fit around there and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is a gym staffed with friendly people. They pack a lot of equipment into their gym so you wont lack for options on your workout. Things are a bit crowded at times and the equipment, though bountiful, could use some updating. For the membership price you cant go wrong choosing this gym if youre in the Oregon City area.

If this is the first time you join a gym this is a great place to start. It is not perfect, nothing ever is. The staff are very nice and helpful. There are people of all kinds the atmosphere is good. So far all the equipment I have tried to use has worked. There has also always been parking.

I have been using this gym for about 3 years now and I just love it. It has everything I desire in a gym, at an affordable rate. I literally live two doors down from a gym but I choose to drive 10mins. to go here instead. Super friendly staff, clean environment and many friendly faces.

Overall probably the best gym in the area, especially for the price. For the most part a great free weight selection as well. My only negative for the gym is theres only one squat rack and unless you come at off hours its next to impossible to get a decent squat workout in.
