WOW , I CANNOT POST THIS IF I DONT IF I DONT CHECK AT LEAST ONE STAR. SO THAT ONE STAR IS IRREVERENT but thats the only way to post this !!!!!!! YA , THE PICTURES WERE WHEN THEY FIRST OPENED AND I DO REMEMBER MOST OF THE 24HRS GYMS THAT OPEN I DID WITNESS THEM. I BET YOU I WAS THERE ABOUT FIVE MONTHS AGO AND THE SHOWER AREA THE TILE WALLS ARE SO NASTY BUT WHEN YOUR STANDING UP YOU DONT SEE THE FILM AS I USED THE A.D.A. SHOWER FOR ME AS I HAVE ONLY ONE LEG. ONCE I SAT DOWN ON THE SHOWER BENCH I COULD SEE HOW MUCH DARKER THE FILM ON THE TILE AND FEEL IT ON THE TILES AS IT BEEN MONTHS AND MONTHS AND EVEN YEARS KNOW ONE , ESPECIALLY THE G.M. DOES A WALK THROUGH EVERY SQUARE FOOT THERE. WHO EVER HAS BEEN GETTING PAID TO CLEAN THE SHOWER ONLY MUST ONLY MOP THE FLOOR. THE O.C. JAIL SHOWERS ARE CLEANER THAN THAT PLACE . WHY IMMATES DONT TOLERATE BEING NASTY IN SHOWERING ONESELF OR YOU WOULD BEE PUT IN CHECK OR OUT YOU GO TO A ONE MAN CELL. EVEN THE TOILETS IVE SEEN THEY WASH THERE CLOTHES IN THE BOWL!!!!! THIS IS O.C. JAIL COMPARED TO A RICH AREA SANTA MARGARITA AND HAVE A NASTY SHOWERS. I BET YOU ITS THE STILL THE TILES HAVE THAT FILM . NOW IT GOING TO TAKE A REALLY REALLY CLEANING AGENT OR HA! A POWER WASHER TO TAKE DOWN THAT FUNK. BECAUSE IT ONLY SHOWS THERE IS NO LABOR FOR THAT PERSON THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SANITATION AND ITS A HEALTH CODE , BIG TIME. (STAFF INFECTION!) BEFORE I LEFT THAT GYM I ASKED WHO IS THE GYM? AND AGAIN RED FLAG AS I SEE THE STAFF IS WONDERING WHY IM ASKING ??? TOM AND DICK AND HARRY ANSWER. SO I SAID I WOULD LIKE THIS G.M. TO USE MY WHEEL CHAIR AND TAKE A SHOWER AT THE A.D.A. SHOWER AND SIT DOWN AND IF DOESNT SEE HOW MUCH DARKER THE FILM IS ON THE TILE WALL AND TOUCH THE WALLS IN THE A.D.A. SHOWER THEN SOMETHING IS REALLY WRONG WITH TWO OF HIS SENSES? (EYES AND TOUCH) WATCH IM GOING TO GIVE YOU ALL A FOLLOW UP ON THIS GYM SOON. TO SEE THE G.M. IS STILL VIOLATING A HEALTH CODE . ... WATCH AND THIS G.M. IS GETTING PAID BIG BUCK ALL THIS YEARS.

As others have said, the equipment at this location does show its age but for the lower cost of this gym I find that more than acceptable. I mainly use the weight room but from what I have seen, the classes dont compare to most of the higher scale gyms in the area so if classes are a big factor in a new gym decision then I might look elsewhere. This gym does offer a free trial pass so you can test it out without any commitments. There is also a 2 year, one time payment pass that can be purchased at Costco which is a steal compared to the cost of other local gyms. There is a large collection of tread mills, bicycles and exercise machines. The weight room is reasonably stocked with multiple flat and incline benches and dumbbell weights going up past 90 pounds. The gym can get a little bit crowded after work but rarely to the point of having a desired machine be consistently taken. As far as a cost to quality ratio this is a great gym.

Some of the equipment is pretty dated as well as the decor, and often various pieces are always seemingly under repair. Cant tell you the last time they got new equipment other than stationary bikes/ellipticals. Labels indicating actual weight on machines are worn off in many instances, not clearly identifying the weight you want to lift. Lots of aerobic machines with TVs, but no WiFi! Locker rooms could be cleaner.

Overall, a decent gym. my only frustration would be the equipment thats definitely showing its age, I might be time for and upgrade instead of a band aid. The pulleys are always breaking down and the fact that the attachments are locked for the free motion machines is extremely annoying.

Worn down equipment, over packed with machines and constantly overcrowded. They dont crank the AC like a gym should and worst of all: NO WIFI!!! I miss Golds Gym. Someone should open a new gym in RSM because this place is a disgrace.

Saw some people complaining about machine wear and tear.... Gotta say loving previously downtown San Diego by comparison this location is quite nice and less crowded. Desk staff actually enjoy their job too! Good gym

The equipment is old and beat up and there are way too many members here for the size of the place. Also, the hours on the weekends are ridiculously short for being a "24 hour" ...Sunday the gym closes at 9pm.

Good gym, cool group of people that come regularly. They arent open 24 hours a day, which is pretty ridiculous, but still a great gym to get your swell on!
