I joined this gym because it was enroute to school and I enjoy quiet workouts. I was excited about the price but hesitant about joining until the sales rep "encouraged" me with the idea of this price being "temporary". The price will stay the same, so dont rush in. Use the 30 day pass first. This gym is FILTHY, the childrens play area isnt fit for stray dogs. The womens area has very old equiptment with torn material so they are uncomfortable to use. The sauna/stem rooms smells absolutely terrrible, like rancid water and mildew. I never recieved my free personal training session. The "classes" are a waste. The instructors rarely come on time (I attempted to attend all the classes giving each instructor the benifit of the doubt) if at all. One class had to be substituted because the actual instructor didnt arrive, the front office staff had no idea what was going on and told me "they are a separate company so I dont know". The sub arrived 20 minutes late with no idea what the class routine was so after an extensive personal conversation with a member she asked the member for exercise routine ideas. Another instructor very unproffesional play vulgar music throughout her class, another instructor for the "kickboxing class" was clueless, he did not help the 3 ladies present on their form (when occasional kicks were implemented) leaving much room for injury. He spent the majority of the "kickboxing" class with a basic step, knee ups and singing Pink amd Taylor Swift. The staff is ridiculous, management is never available and they are dis honest. at month 11 I cancelled my debit card, paid with a money order (though they attempted to coherse me into giving them a new card number) then month 12 another individual tried to bully me into giving a credit card number, even saying they are not allowed to accept any other method of payment. After i explained the procedure I went though for payment the past month he reluctantly accepted. I notified the office staff J & E at both instances of my pending membership cancellation as well as sent the 30day cancellation notice certified to the address provided and the following month they still attempted to debit my account (which is why i paid the last 2 months with a money order), to put the icing on the cake they are saying they never recieved my cancellation and threatened to send me to collections. Melissa (the contact person at the home office) was unreachable for 2 months as i attempted to reach her about conditions at the gym prior to my cancellation. I NEVER recieved a call back. I did not hear from her until she was threatening to send me to collections. I spoke with her and 3 days later got the exact same call as though she took no notes and had no recollection that we had spoke just days before. Now I have to gather all my documents and fax them (because she says they dont have an email address". THIS PLACE IS NOT WOTH THE DIRT ITS BUILT ON!!!!

i would not recommend this gym to anyone. when i went into sign up id ealt with the owner, he was very pushy. about as pushy as a used car salesman, but i was in a bit of a bind so i decided to sign up and instantly had buyers remorse. i cam in the next day for my scheduled workout, and the gym was a mess, there was only a few other people there because it was about 7am on a sunday so im sure that the mess had been left over from the previous day or night. there was trash on the floors, and plates scattered around the uneven floor, leaned on machines, and benches. the dumbbells were racked with no sort of organization, i couldnt even find the other half of most sets. i spent at least 25 minutes putting weights back on racks so that i could move around and not risk tripping, or slipping. i was also told by the manager they had dumbbells ranging from 5 lbs up to 190 lbs. this was not true. there may have been one 5lb dumbbell, and then it sporadically jumped up to 125lbs, where it completely dropped of until 150lbs which was only one dumbbell, and they also had 1 190lb dumbbell. the locker room smelled like mold, and mildew, was very dimly lit, and the bathrooms smelled like urine. they advertised for a tanning bed, which was an extra monthly fee in the "all inclusive" to the all inclusive rate i paid. after seeing the locker room i would not even imagine lying down in a tanning bed at this place. i noticed on the website they offered a 1 week free trial which i was told was not available, and was an old promo one of the previous gym owners had instated. i felt ripped off that it was advertised, but not offered. after my one training session i immediately went online an researched laws pertaining to breaching contracts in hopes that fitness clubs fell under the mandatory 3 day cooling off period, which they did so i drafted a letter of cancellation for myself and my girlfriend whom i also paid for in full for a year. it has been 1 month since cancellation and i have yet to receive my refund so i am writing this review which i was not going to write because i felt i didnt want to hurt the gym anymore because it looked like it had endured some financial hardships recently, but the fact that after a month i have not seem my refund is really making me question whether or not they actually intend to refund the money or just hoped i wouldnt notice it not showing up in my account. edit: i just spoke to someone else about my refund and was told to wait for a call back until friday december 19th. i also was told that the gentlemen i dealt with was not the owner.

I posted this same review to Yelp, hoping that it gets to the right person. Thats how strongly I feel against this gym. And to be honest, from being in online marketing, it looks like they have paid for a couple of these "5 star" reviews, just read them and tell me how natural they sound. Their flyer says "No pressure, no hassle" Well the second I walked in for the first time the guy was trying to sell me on a membership. Startup fee was $19.99 and when you start you have to pay the first month and the last months fee, no big deal. So the total was 38.98 and I gave him $40. The guy said "I know this sounds weird, but we actually dont have change right now, we can give it to you next time you come in" REALLY?! Not professional at ALL! The whole experience was like that. Pros: Quiet and not busy THATS ABOUT IT Cons: Weight equipment is creaky, old, and dirty. Feels like the equipment belongs in a gym from the 80s. Bathrooms are in terrible condition and smell weird. They are not professional at all in their communication, using curse words with a family member that came in. One guy was running the WHOLE thing for the morning. Answering a phone in one hand and signing people in with the other. To be honest the only reason I joined was because it was sort of an impulse buy. PAY THE EXTRA $10-$15 for a nicer club, its worth it. TRUST ME.

I have a group of 35 girls part of a dance team that needed a gym to work out at. I wanted something different then the regular chains ( 24 hr fitness and ballys) just read the reviews online and had mixed feelings ... decided to call and WOW had a girl answer the phone that called herself the front desk manager.... because her manager was at lunch since he works 12 hrs day and blah blah blah Online it says only 19.00 dollars and nowhere does it say a down payment and she was telling me how she misspoke by saying it was 19.99 a month cuz this was the special right now and that she has nothing to do with the web site and she said she could not go beyond the owner and kept blamming the owner about everything that didnt make sense and also used the funniest term i have ever heard in my life for a down payment " consideration" what the heck was she talking about. mentioning contracts and etc...when she doesnt have any common sense ( btw i told her that having the price there was common sense and she took it personal ... wonder why lol) , seriously she sounded like that bon qui qui from saturday night live it was hilarious bon qui qui was enough for me not to take my team there. btw $25 dollars X 35 = 875 i will save my money and my review in here =)
