When you are unhappy in life, you will find nothing but all bad and wrong. I really dont like the rating system becuase people can rate depends on their mood. I been to several 24fitnesst and I found this clean and spacious. Yes, there are some work to do like for example, checking the bathroom frequently, cleaning the machines and supply more paper towels when they are out. About the location, Redwoodcity in general is a safe city. Yes, it is a bit dark becuase it is isolated from other business but that doesnt make it unsafe. As I said, Redwoodcity is a save city and I been here for more thN 15 years. For those who left less than 3 stars, I am sure they are the one who left the bathroom dirty after they used it. I am sure they are the one who left their towels any where after they used it. I really dont know what people complain about the customer service???? When I fo to the gym, I mostly go there to release my stress, I dont wanna talk to nobody. I come and the stuff members greeted at me I barely unswer them. Why do they need a good customer service??? I go there to use the machines and not to make friends or expect from someone to make my day by beeing nice. Comon people.

Tuve mala experiencia deje mis cosas en el locker y cuando regrese me avian robado mi pantalón con mi cartera con todos mis documentos y les pedí ayuda para aser un reporte para octener nuevos documentos y no me ayudaron les da igual lo que pase ...les falta capacitación tuve que salir mojado y muy molesto de ese lugar..........ojo si asisten cuiden sus pertenencias x que ami me dejaron sin ropa,sin dinero,sin documentos y todavia empapado asta mi casa.........

I have been going to the San Mateo and Mt. View locations for 10 years. I was so happy to see a location just 1 mile from my house. It was great first few months. Now it is VERY over crowded and they are constantly pushing for new members. The wait for machines is annoying but the worst problem is that it is filthy. Big gobs of hair in showers and jacuzzi, used feminine products littered on floors of showers and locker rooms, there was actually poop in one of the shower stalls last week and the smells are horrible in both the showers and the steam room. I have seen a specific piece of trash on floor or in the shower and it will still be there the next day! A gym with this high volume should be cleaned several times a day! They did however clean it up for "Bring a friend day"

I just joined a week ago, after leaving Bay Club and the Pacific Athletic Club. What a refreshing place, beautifully clean, understated, no self-indulged kids or mothers blocking your way, ok parking even during peak hours, as Im trying to get to the floor. People here work out seriously, staff is beyond professional and customer centric. Equipment is so current and working, not to mention their superior selection of personal master and elite trainers. Did I forget to mention initiation and monthly fees are so reasonable that you can invest the money you save on top notch personal trainers addressing and meeting your goals? I love this place and trust my fitness goals will be met while enjoying it fully. Highly recommended.

Cons: - they frequently run out of towels. Last time, they were out when I got there, so I worked out without one. I assumed there would be more by the time I finish working out so I could shower. Then they were out when I finished, and I was told that itd be 30 minutes before there were more. So I took a shower, and "dried" off with my sweaty shirt. What other choice? Some people went to the bathroom and used hand dryers... This is unacceptable. Id forgive if it was a rare occasion, but its not. - toilet paper frequently runs out. Remember to check before you pinch a loaf - the water in the pool is sometimes warm and cloudy Pros: - staff are friendly and welcoming - equipment is kept up

It is a new gym my Boyfriend says. It is close for us we both agree. But the lack of attention to the maintenance in the upstairs restroom and equipment is unforgiving. It has been a constant battle with the front desk reminding them once to twice a month that I go to their gym how their upstairs restroom smells like piss everywhere and their equipment is obviously not inspected either. I had to have a trainer come take a look and 4 different equipments. Not to mention the female trainers and front desk girls are very flirty with men and are not friendly towards women. One of them stares me down and walks around naked in the locker room starring at herself and speaks vulgarly out loud.

Cleanliness is well maintained minus the womens showers. Sales Manager appears inconsistent with the overall friendliness of the staff. Thankfully the young ladies and gentlemens who are quite friendly, happily assist when necessary. Overall this particular 24 hr Fitness facility although convenient for suana, hot tub use and minor use of weights appears highly over crowded, competitive and moreover a place to socialize with half naked individuals opposed to actually working towards enhancing a greater physical and mental health. Good thing my latest hotel has a private gym by the outdoor pool.

This gym is convenient to go to, but the costumer service is poor. Also, the gym is extremely crowded, but that is more understandable. The hottub has now been broken for 2 months, because the part they are waiting for is on backorder. Considering the amount of membership fees this place takes in, I would think a hottub part would be easy to find elsewhere. But who knows maybe that costs too much. The showers are absoluteley filthy, and towels are common place to be overflowing and stacked on the floor. Considering the monthly fee is $50, I think its fair to say you dont get what you pay for.

New and large gym, but terrible staff and very poorly maintained. Disgusting conditions everywhere, staff never clean... Instead they all stand behind the desk to try and catch people entering without membership. Although only a few months old, much of the equipment is already wearing down or broken. And like every other 24 fitness, dont expect it to ever be fixed. Also very crowded and expect to spend at least 10 minutes getting a parking space if you go any weekday evening. Will definitely be canceling my membership.

They employees are okay. Sometimes i wish theyd stop hanging out long enough to do their jobs. I often have to wait while they laugh and joke with each other before i can get assistance. Towels here a recurring problem. The towel bins are always over flowing causing there to be none at the front desk. Its also annoying that most people using the locker room DONT use a lock. I end up going from locker to locker trying to find one thats unlocked AND empty. For what Im paying for for membership, i expect a lot more.

Nice equipment (relatively new location), good pricing. Training staff are TERRIBLE. I have had 3 experiences thus far with the training staff, all horrible. Most recently (10/28/15) one of the trainers (Jeff) interrupted me in the middle of my set, took the weights out of my hands and called me a dick to my face. Not a great way to sell training services. Not a great way to treat customers.
