Ive been coming here for over a year now. I remember feeling so out of shape during the first class while warming up and doing the jump ropes. I thought to myself this seems impossible, especially seeing how great the others are doing. But after consistently going to class, Ive noticed that Ive gotten stronger, can punch harder, and overall feel better about my health. Nick and Callie does a great job at working you out, but they also understand the limits of what you can or cant do. Theyll teach you proper stance and boxing techniques while keeping the whole workout fun and lively. I love that theres a family feel here. Youll see a lot of regulars coming back. The place is always clean, youll even see Nick cleaning the mirrors, floor, and dumbells. As for parking, youll never have to worry about it since theres a lot! Prices are reasonable and they have a lot of programs to choose from. So, if youre looking for a place where you could learn pro boxing, get a great workout and meet some new friends make sure to try this place out!

The workouts given by Nick are nothing short of exceptional; they build both conditioning and strength as well as teaching the fundamentals and technique of boxing. New concepts are introduced steadily as you attend more classes, so you never feel like youre stagnating. A wide variety of exercises are conducted in each class, which helps reinforce concepts learned in earlier classes and helps combine all of whats been learned together rather than leaving them as separate ideas. Nick is an excellent instructor, and works just as well with people who are completely new to boxing as with those who have boxed for years. He holds classes six days out of the week and also offers personal training, so its very easy to fit a class into your schedule. The first class is also free if you just want to see if its for you.

Whether youre looking to step into the ring and box competitively, want to learn how to defend yourself, or simply want a great workout, peninsula boxing is the place. Ive been boxing competitively since the first month of training and have been very satisfied with the training and the experience. Coach Nick has a strong passion for boxing and is dedicated in what he does. Working around my schedule and often taking his free time to have me come in and train privately. The class atmosphere is positive, an easy place to make friends, at the same time its a hell of a workout and teaches boxing fundamentals used by the best of the best in pro boxing.

Nick is an exceptional boxing coach. He teaches you about proper techniques that can be used in real boxing matches. The conditioning exercise for boxers is also good for general fitness. You will improve your strength, agility, coordination, core and endurance by training with Nick. Nick is encouraging and entertaining in his class. This is really a blessing to have him as my coach! Highly recommend to whoever want to get into shape in a fun and diverse way without breaking the bank. If you want to get in depth into boxing, look no further. This is the place to be. First drop-in is free!

As a former Eastern European boxing competitor, I would say that this is the most equipped boxing place Ive worked out at. ( out of at least 10 ) Nick is a knowledgeable coach with a lot of passion about boxing strategies, defenses, and counter attacks. The gym is a great place for learning from scratch, developing further your boxing skills, or just keeping yourself in a decent shape. In addition, you may meet awesome people from variety of backgrounds, such as students, lawyers, soft. engineers, or MDs.

As a previous class passer, Ive checked out 15+ gyms in the bay area and Peninsula boxing is the best. Ive been training at Peninsula Boxing for 1-2 years now and love every workout. Coach Nick, is passionate about boxing and motivates us to reach our personal bests. The boxing classes are always diverse and challenging and focus on real boxing technique. The class sizes are small, with mostly regulars, and the gym has a "family" feel to it.

Peninsula Boxing is a great place to learn to box and get a great workout. I started almost 2 years ago as a total beginner. Nick (the owner) is great at working with you whether you are new (teaching you the basics) or more advanced (will test your speed and timing). If you are on the Peninsula and interested at all in boxing, this is the place to go.
