I was helping my daughter purchase a truck private party and wanted to make sure she didnt have any problems and we could make an informed decision. So we paid Rio Vista ford to do a complete inspection of the truck prior to purchase Upon their inspection we decided to buy the truck. Steven Adgate was the service manager and assured me all was great with the truck they advised it needed rear brakes soon and a hose. Less than a month later my daughter took the truck into Les Schwab to have the tires rotated and was told both front wheel bearing were in horrible shape and too dangerous to drive on. I then called Steven at Rio Vista ford he said he remembered the truck and that there was no way they were out and accused Les Schwab of trying to upsell my daughter. So I called Jesse the manager at Les Schwab he assured me they were bad and wouldnt let his own daughter drive the truck as it was unsafe!!!! I called Steven Adgate back I asked him if it could have been missed on his inspection he said there was no way the bearings were bad and what did I expect him to do?? I said stand behind your work.......... He then called me a MORON?????????? What did I do to deserve that?????????? I called back and asked for the General Manager Ken Ken seemed interested at first, He asked for my name and number said he would look into it and call me back... I then asked for his full name KEN ADGATE Seems that him and Steven are brothers Called me back and doesnt want to stand behind their inspection They sure did take my money Service manager Steven was horrible on the phone calling customers names will not get you repeat or referral business!!

Service department lacks organization and a sense of urgency. Dropped car off on 6/28 and still resolving issue 7/7. No proactive communication. Blamed FORD HQ for lack of water pump parts availability for a 2016 Ford Titanium Energi. Thursday 7/6 was promised a follow up call and attention by Service Manager and no mid day call for status after 12:30pm on 7/7. Contacted Service Manager, he said they contacted the engineers and that takes 24-48 hours. Wiring harness issue and still an open circuit. No sense of urgency. Still no resolution 8 days later.

Just bought our second truck from Rio Vista Ford and couldnt be happier. We live closer to two other Ford dealerships, but the sales department and experiences we have had at Rio Vista Ford is worth the drive.
