Posted from Yelp: Alright, story time: Im an amateur when it comes to computer repair. When it came to swapping out my HDD to a SSD on my Thinkpad, After reading up on how to do it and watching videos of people doing the exact same thing, I felt confident I could do the upgrade myself. I was very wrong. After prying the back cover of my Thinkpad open (and snapping a piece off of it) I swapped the drives and found out I did not successfully clone the previous drive. I put my old HDD back in and was freaked out of my failure that I screwed up screwing back in the screws in the wrong place an warped some of the screw-holes. I was a mess. After getting my composure back, I Googled PC repair services in Sacramento and came across these guys. Not thinking about the time (10PM) I called out to them, but no response. I get a text from one of the techs Michael, asking what was going on and sorry he missed my call. I told him my problem and said he would be happy to fix it. The very next day I got my appointment set up for Yoga to fix my horrible mess. They are a mobile service so Michael had one of his techs, Theo came and picked up my Thinkpad and was able to swap the drives no problem. He brought it back after a couple days and allowed me to boot it up to make sure it worked fine. Theo was a very quiet guy and I felt I could barely get an answer out of the guy when I was asking additional questions about my repair. After leaving, I found out the one of the screws I could not get back in the Thinkpad was still not put back and was a bit upset on how Theo did not tell me about it. I texted Michael about how I felt Theos communication was not very good and about how I felt my Thinkpad was not fully repaired. Michael explained to me how that part could not be fixed but referred me to another shop to see if they would say anything different. Michael expressed his concern and made sure I was 100% satisfied and explained to me in the field that their best techs (Theo included) are sometimes not the best communicators. Thats how the tech industry work, I guess. Michael gave me great communication throughout the transaction. But Michael offered me something I was not expecting, a partial refund on my service. Good on Yoga for taking care of my Thinkpad and giving me some better incite on how the tech industry works. I felt completely satisfied with this transaction and give Yoga Computer Repair my 100% recommendation. tl:dr - Tried to swap hard drives and failed miserably, Yoga fixed it no problem. Great service and communication.

To all my fellow gamers out there - those who run custom rigs 24/7 in beast mode - this review is for you. My graphics started causing death by lag. This was understandable since I ran it 3 years overclocked without maintenance or fan cleaning. (Dont you judge me.) So, I punished myself and read the reviews for every computer repair company in Sacramento. I decided to contact Yoga Bear Computer Repair. I liked the fact that they would pick up and deliver the computer to my home, I liked their business model and their impressive flawless feedback. Soon after I contacted them via their Website, Michael called me, got the details of my issue, and assigned Tim to help me. Tim came by to pick up my computer the same day and give me an estimate. After all this, I was so impressed I decided to ask him if he would upgrade my computer. I ended up getting an SSD drive installed, a better CPU, & fans. Tim kept me informed and when my parts arrived, he installed them and I got my computer back the same week. The computer worked beautifully, but had a freakish problem that didnt show up until I used it for a while. I contacted them, and Tim came right back out and picked up my computer. My situation was unusual, but its good for you to know that they really take pride in their work and guarantee their services. Tim was able to recreate my issue and fix it because in addition to his vast computer experience, he plays a game with high-intensity graphics when he has time. Since he returned my computer, its even more beastly than before, without the need for overclock. AND - the cost was incredibly low and generous. I am so happy, its like my 1st boss kill. I felt so smart for contacting them. Like a winner! Without hesitation, I recommend Yoga Bear to gamers with custom or high-end pre-assembled systems. This is not something specifically listed on their website, but since they basically assembled an almost new system for me, perhaps they build gaming rigs from the ground up. It would be good to know. Anyhow - contact them if youre looking for computer specialists and be a winner!

My MacBook Pro was running slower than slow! I wanted to purchase a new one, but decided to get it looked at before I did. I called Yoga Bear and boy am I glad I did. I spoke with Michael over the phone and he walked me through some of the possible problems my computer could be having. He sent a tech over (Ken) to take a look at it. Ken came by, took my computer and had diagnosed the exact issue. It was my hard drive! Ken suggested some options and I went ahead and chose to upgrade to a solid state drive. Ken went to work and had my computer back to me within 24 hours! I cannot express how amazed I was when I saw the performance on my Mac! It was literally night and day! Needless to say, I am more than please with Yoga Bear! They were very reasonably priced and saved me over $1000 in having to buy a new MacBook Pro. I will definitely be recommending them to my friend and family! Thanks again Micheal and Ken! Theres no doubt that I will be contacting you again for any computer needs.

Yoga Bear is fast, courteous, responsive, professional and personable. My 2012 MacBook Pro died 18 months ago and I feared the worst. After trying to call another Sacramento Business multiple times and was ignored, I gave up hope. Then on a whim I called Yoga Bear and left a message. Michael (the owner) immediately called me back. He gave me a reasonable quote for replacing my hard drive after diagnosing my computer. He also said that he could upgrade my Mac to a solid state hard drive and add more memory too, for the parts at cost. Theo, the tech came to my home that day and picked up my computer. He swapped my hard drive with a new solid state drive, recovered 99% of my data and upgraded my RAM. It works better than ever! So impressed by their professionalism and quality of service. Will never go anywhere for my computer needs again. This team is the best.

My ex-husband had set up a complicated system with wires running everywhere and the modem under the house. Ever since I upgraded to windows 10 my internet connection kept getting cut off, and my streamer wouldnt work while my computer was connected. Sometimes my cell phone couldnt access the wireless. I had one computer expert come out and he fixed the cell-phone problem, and the internet problem, but the internet problems returned. Then I called Yogi Bear. Their guy arrived exactly on time and was very nice. He spent a lot of time with me exploring the system and working on my computrer until my problem was solved and it has STAYED solved. I plan to get a laptop in the near future, and will definitely call Yogi Bear for HELP. Thanks very much guys!
