I have used PC Fix for several years for both my home and my office computer repairs. I recently had an issue with 2 different laptops. Both showed different symptoms of software malfunction, but also had similar glitches as well. I took both laptops to PC Fix for diagnosis and repair. Kekoa was able to trace the mystery malfunctions to the software installation I had done for my new printer at home, which had corrupted just parts of each laptop (sort of a "shotgun" corruption- hitting small sections of various installed software, leaving them damaged, but somewhat functional, and with no damage trail to trace). Kekoa spent hours dissecting the software on my computer to be sure to locate and remove all of the corrupted areas on my laptops. In the end both laptops are now performing as if they were new, and I was only billed for the initial diagnosis and 2 hours of Kekoas time, which I am sure is a mere fraction of the time he truly put on the clock fixing the issues. There is no better place to get your computers fixed, and I cant rate Kekoa Chin-Hidano highly enough.

We had a very bad experience with PC FIX. We called in because our macbook air got water on it and wasnt turning on. They said "bring it by and well take a look". So we did and dropped it off on a Friday. The next Monday they called and said its the mother board and itll be around $499 to fix or $299 to try to get data off. I said wed think about it and I was going to come get it. They then said oh, well itll be a $50 fee for looking at it. The fee was never disclosed, not once. The owner got on the phone and didnt say anything other than hes been doing this for 20 years and hes sticking with his ways. He has posters with fees I could have looked at. They are deceiving people and not disclosing information they should. Dont trust these guys....seems pretty slimy to me.

This last visit was to reinstall a 64 bit copy of Win 7 on a desktop machine. The machine had been rendered unable to boot and unusable by Win 10. (No surprise there). Great service and very fast turnaround. All the folks at the store are extremely helpful and very nice. I want to also say our extended family relies on PC Fix to maintain computers at a retail store and a law office as well as repairing our home and school devices. In addition to some repairs, theyve setup high speed Internet access, automatic backups to the Cloud and wireless networks for us. Weve recommended them to others and have never had a complaint.

My computer was not connecting to the internet like it was suppose to and this was keeping me from getting work done. Elliott, the tech, said hed have me fixed and up and running in less than an hour. I was skeptical because never in my prior experience over the years with any tech, even tho they all said the same thing "be done in less than an hour," they all took more like three hours. But not Elliott, he really was in and done in less than an hour....amazing!!! And the problem was something I would never have even thought of as the cause of the problem. Total two thumbs way up for Elliott!!!

Laptop stopped working and I had many files that had not been backed up. PC Fix was able to "save" the files for me and copied them on to an external hard drive. Even let me buy my own external drive and bring it in. Also, got my laptop back up and running. I ended up buying a new laptop, since my mine was a few years old, but I now have an extra laptop that is clean, boots up quick and works great. I had used Geek Squad and Hard Drives NW over the years, but found PC Fix to be friendly, helpful and priced right! -- Steve in Issaquah

On Monday, Mike Lynch was at the Ballard store filling in for a sick Dave and the experience was, as usual, phenominal. My vintage Dell laperoo, which I bought from PCFix about a thousand years ago when dinosaurs roamed, came in with a case of "Wheres Waldo" when trying to get on Internet Explorer. Manager/Magician Mike got his top hat and pulled a veritable rabbit-out-of-the-hat routine and I was on my way.....launched into cyberspace. These guys were great! I dropped off my laptop for what I assumed was a loose LCD cable since my screen was flickering occasionally. They were able to accommodate a same day rush and called me within a few hours. Unfortunately the issue ended up being larger then the cable, When asked if the repair was recommended or if I was better off purchasing a new laptop they told me to just invest in a new one and just charged me a $50 diagnosis fee for their time. Their honesty was appreciated! I would absolutely recommend them.

Elliott with PC Fix has been saving my sanity for a few years now. He has helped set up the network for our computers, set up a server and a back up system, fixed numerous untold computer problems (such as the computers not working!), printer problems, scanner problems, helped me move my website & domain to a different hosting service, recently helped us transfer all of our email accounts to a different hosting server, etc. When your computers are down, your business is down. Elliott has helped me stay in business!

I have been a customer of PCFix for about 2 years and just migrated from a laptop running XP (that broke) to one with Windows 7 and wanted to share a printer over my home network. Since MS has made things soooo much simplier I fussed for 2 days looking for something that used to be inuitively obvious in XP but is now a couple of layers down. Anyway, I called PCFix for help. They were outstanding, even though this advice had nothing to do with any recent purchase. Outstanding staff, great help and friendly.

I was so pleased to find this very convenient location in Issaquah and to learn that they could repair my cracked iPhone screen in just a matter of a couple of hours. I was sure my laptop was toast. A virus had wiped everything out. I called PC FIX and over the phone they assured me all was probably not lost. I took it to the Issaquah store and had it back as good as new a couple of days later. The repair cost was very reasonable and the front desk help was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Im so happy I found these guys. I called first and spoke with David Maxey and he was extremely helpful. Once I dropped my computer off, they communicated well about the process, got it fixed quickly, and as promised, the diagnostics fee went towards the actual repair. Its great to know we have more than the Geek Squad in the area.
