My Dell hard drive blew out, and I needed to both transfer data off the old drive and install a new hard drive. Not knowing where to go, I called the Geek Squad at Best Buy and was on put on hold for 10 minutes before I could even speak to anyone. After I hung up, I called Frys and was told that it would cost a non-refundable $40 for a diagnostic, then $300 to just get the data off. I lucked into finding this shop in San Mateo. Calvin fixed everything for a price almost half of what Best Buy and Frys were charging, with significantly better and more personal service. I was able to get everything I needed, supply cheaper parts myself, and get a 3 month guarantee that everything is going to work. I recommend this shop highly for any computer repair, and will definitely go back if I have any problems in the future. Thanks Calvin.

i think this guy knows nothing but changing motherboard (which will cost you $400). i took my laptop to this guy around 6 months ago for jack problem and he said we have to change motherboard but even tough he change the motherboard 3 time my computer was having the same problem.2 weeks ago i took computer to one guy in mountain view and he only repair the jack which only took 1 day ( by the way from calvin it took 1.5 months to give computer back) and $100 to fix my computer working extremely fine now and as per calvin i visited him this morning maybe he can pay me half of the money but he has been very nasty and told me he cannot do nothing as he did to my computer and charged $400 thank you calvin not fixing my computer and stealing my money

I have a feeling the negative reviews on here were written by competitors who have lost their business to Calvin. Every time you go to get a car or computer fixed, it is nerve racking because you know you can easily get scammed, but Calvin is everything you hope you get out of a technician. Hes very good, knows his stuff and best of all will tell you if you dont need to spend money on something or do little stuff for free. Ive seen him do it for me and for other customers while I was waiting. Awesome customer service. Very trustworthy. Id let him marry my sister.

I just dont know why it has a good review. This was a worst place for computer services that I have ever visited. I searched internet and found it has a good review and went there for a question with my laptop internet WIFI connection. The owner ( the only person works there ) took 5 min didn t find reason. Finally I got the idea and told him. But he still charged me. The reason he said was time he spent. So even if he didnt know how to fix it, you still needed to pay because the time he spent. That kind of service will lead to a store close. Believe me or not.

I took my 27 inch monitor in on 4/3/2015 for diagnostic repair. Said they would call. No contact from them so I called on 4/17/2015. Response was the manager had to get a part to test it. They would call back. Today, 4/27/15 I called again, and the manager was not in and the gentleman who I spoke with had not idea what was going on even after I gave them the Job #. This type of service is unacceptable. How long could it take to figure out if it can or cannot be fixed- OMG! I will return here only to pick up my monitor.

I have had C&C do work on several computers in my home and business (about eight total) and I am totally satisfied. They even came to my home to fix my wireless network. Prices are reasonable...and I think they really care that their customers are happy. I have purchased a laptop and a lot of other items like memory and network equipment. Never any problem, but I know they would cover me if there was one. I will be pleased to go back if I need to.

Ask for Calvin. He fixed two computers and built me another from scratch. I got a better deal than Frys or Costco and with great service.

I went in to C&C to fix a virus that changed my BIOS password on my laptop which by the way was a big waste of time this guy suck.
