Stay away from this agency. I had an appt. with Sarah Clifton. I had to reschedule and called/e-mailed days ahead. She called me about a lead generation position. When I arrived she told me it was too late to apply? She called me about the job and knew I was coming in for that position. I believe there is some age discrimination going on with this agency. Judgemental and an attitude. Hope she is never looking for a job. I do not recommend this agency. There are plenty to choose from that would not have a candidate come in and tell her its not available. Gas, time ..ok

Temp agencies withhold between 1/3 and 1/2 your hourly wage as a "finders fee." This sounds remarkably similar to what a job shark would do during the early 20th century. Do you remember the Wobblies? Then they hold your potential employment at ransom unless they pay a placement fee. They dont pay sick, vacation, or holiday pay. They dont pay for healthcare. The American middle class is shrinking; long-term temporary employment isnt helping.

I agree with that. In addition, temp agencies will cut you out of your unemployment. I have not worked for Proven; however I have worked for other agencies. If you work for a temp agency and the job ends, the will do whatever it takes to cut off your unemployment, including lying and deceit. So if you take a job with one, just be careful. They can be helpful, but they dont care about you, they care only about the bottom line.
