I recommend McCall Staffing very highly. Not only did they find the perfect job for me in a very specific field, but the pay was above my expectations. I have recommended them to several friends. I worked with Sara, and she gave me individualized attention, really coaching me through the entire process. Her approach is holistic and she listened carefully and asked questions about my career goals and skills so that she could find a position that would be a good fit for everyone involved. She suggested several positions and asked me which I was most interested in, and in what order. Then she gave valuable advice before each interview. She also carefully critiqued my resume and post-interview follow up notes to potential employers, and was a truly great advocate for me. Resume advice was above and beyond what I expected. It worked and I got the position I was most interested in. This high level of professionalism, individualized attention and genuine helpfulness is extremely rare in San Francisco staffing services – I have worked with other agencies that rush you through, don’t listen, don’t know the industries they are recruiting for, then try to force you into a minimum wage job. NOT McCall! They have been extremely helpful and attentive to all of my questions and concerns, and have taken the time to learn the specifics of my skills and what I was looking for. They helped me with both short term and long term positions. Their website is not flashy and trendy, but on a personal level they provide excellent service. I have also met some very interesting and highly educated job seekers working with McCall, people with graduate degrees like myself. Besides the fact that I like them and their style of working, they got me a great job that is a great fit for where I want my career to go. And with great pay. Sara has been a real pleasure to work with, and I recommend McCall Staffing highly. Five plus stars!

A few months ago Pegi Wheatley from McCall Staffing Center contacted me through Craigslist about a job opportunity as a nanny in San Francisco. When I first spoke with Pegi, she was very professional and made me feel comfortable speaking with her. She also gave a most accurate description of what the job entailed as a nanny. I was astonished at how quickly Pegi responded with emails and updates with interviews scheduled with the family. She is amazing and extremely helpful when it comes down to the interview process. I had loads of questions about what was okay to ask during the interview and Pegi was more than willing and pleased to help me. She made me feel much more confident about the interview for the position as a nanny. Her outstanding service was dedicated and organized. Her personal attention made me feel as though I were her top priority. This is the most efficient agency and the staff will make you feel more at ease with job hunting, plus I was incredibly impressed by their dedicated & professional service! You will find on the McCall Staffing website that a majority of the company is non-profit and Pegi (the founder) has been running the agency for over 31 years. A few months ago I was contacted by McCall Staffing through Linkedin about a job opportunity as an EA. When I first spoke with them they were very professional and made me feel comfortable. They were extremely helpful when it came down to the interview process and had lots of suggestions. Even after I was hired they kept in touch to see how it was going. When things did not work out, I stopped hearing from them. They were asked again to place the next employee with their company. I feel that due to the fact they were aware of the companys HR issues, they should have refused.

McCall Staffing is my favorite employment agency, and I am registered as a temp with several agencies. All levels of McCalls staff are very professional and cordial. Among my assignments from McCall were two where I was one of several temps from McCall, and I can say that the level of intelligence of McCall temps is much higher than that of temps with other agencies with whom I work. McCalls is just great!!

Other agencies I tried just cant compare to the quality of McCalls. The staff is truly dedicated to your needs and those of their clients. In this day of mega-corporations it is a joy to find and work for a smaller, personal company like Mccalls. You couldnt ask for a better experience and expertise.

I came to McCall after reading some reviews of Yelp. I have been completely dazzled by their personal attention to detail. They completely revamped my resume, which was no small feat! I will always return to them for any future professional endeavors. Ask for Pegi or Sara!!!!
