I went there for a little less then a year, it was okay while I was there, but it definitely closed too early for me, it smelled bad, and it was always so crowded. Then I went away to school in Aug and had the account put on hold until Dec. I ended up staying for another semester, so I called again in Jan. to have it put on hold until May. The person I talked to was very nice and understanding. I was then charged for Jan and so I called in and the person on the other end kindly put a credit to my Fitness 19 account for one month. Same thing happened in Feb. and when it happened AGAIN in March I was very upset. (I know its only $10 a month but I am a college student with very little money). My father went in to the San Ramon site for me because I am in Florida and they told him they couldnt do anything and that he would have to call in. When he called he talked to Stephanie. She was very rude and told him she couldnt do anything for him. So when I called in I talked to Stephanie also, she told me there was never any records of me calling in and they rarely do holds on accounts and never over the phone. She told me she would give me April and May on hold and I would still get my three months on credit... Over all Fitness 19 has very poor customer service, not enough hours, not enough equipment, I will NEVER recommend that anyone EVER go there. Pay a little more for somewhere else - its defiantly worth it!

They dont even deserve one star. I signed up last summer, only had time to go in 2 times before I moved over an hour away. They fail to tell you when you sign up that you need to physically walk in to the same one to cancel your membership. Meaning I need to take about 3hrs out of my busy a** day to day life and make a round trip drive just to walk in and tell them to their faces I need to cancel my membership. What a joke and load of crap. What if I had moved out of state? I just continue to pay for something I never use? So now I have a remaining balance and not only do they call every few days about it like telemarketers, they now take their personal phones and texting me about money I owe them. Professional? Absolutely not. This place is ridiculously unprofessional and just as bad as telemarketers when you cant run your a** down to them on the drop of a dime. The staff is horrible, completely unfriendly and rude. And that alone will break a businesses reputation. Learn some freaking customer service and stop harassing people.

Been here for one year. They have some decent equipment...IF IT ISNT ALREADY IN USE. No duplicate machines. The staff is retarded and uneducated with the exception of Jeremy. The training sessions are bull. Dont buy them. Half of the time is spent blabbering. The cost is decent. Cant complain too much there. One employee in particular stands out, and i dont mean in a good way. Hes the reason Im writing this. Under no circumstance should a short, cocky douchebag be allowed to work in a gym. His name is CJ. Avoid him at all costs. Hes an $$$hole, acts like hes a cop, and needs to pull his head out of his a$$. CJ, I really hope youre reading this.

Was only in town for a week on business but I used this gym while I was in town. I worked out in the mornings around 5am when it wasnt too crowded. Really nice facility for what it is, it has everything you really need. The guy working the front was really helpful and even showed me a few workouts to do when I asked him for advice which is more than you would expect a guy working the front desk alone to do. I would highly recommend if youre looking for a gym in the area

I love this place... Maybe because I come during off hours (10-12), but I can always find a bench free, the squat rack is usually free, and there are PLENTY of cardio machines. The staff has been friendly and helpful, though there are a few that are exceptionally loud, but I dont mind it much. All in all though, you get a great set of weights, racks, machines, and cardio equipment for about 1/3 of the price of 24 Hour. That makes it a 5 in my book.

Most Rude Trainer I have ever seen- They just advertise the deals but dont really follow them. They are very partial with customers. They will give the deals to their favorite customers, and refuse others. Which is really bad and unacceptable. If you ask the reason, they talk very rudely, especially a trainer called "TONY". That guy should be thrown out immediately. I dont know whom to complain about him. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Theyve cleaned up their act! Raymond Price is the best trainer Ive ever had. Hes quiet, thorough and mixes up the routines. The screamers are gone, but theres one trainer (don’t know name) who really likes to touch the ladies he trains - not very professional. Too many of the TVs are tuned to Faux News, and theres an annoying circuit audio that nobody uses. But otherwise the place is an inexpensive place for working out.

This is an awesome place. I have been a member here since 2007. I have gotten to know every body and the staff is really friendly. They have the most to offer for the lowest price. It is also located right in the middle of the marketplace which allows me to buy something right after my work out and save time. I always have a good time seeing people I know. 6 years of membership speaks for itself.

Staff is great! Equipment is clean, well maintained, clean facility & convenient location. Theyll earn 5 stars when they install a second free weight Power Rack! FYI- They have a Smith Machine and Power Rack but when its busy theres a line waiting to squat. (Otherwise 5 Stars)

If you move and cancel your membership they keep charging your credit card. Its been 3 months and their management cant figure out how to take care of a cancellation. Now its been 6 months and they are still billing me. FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!

Buyer beware. I cancelled my account after moving and they are trying to get me for additional fees after the staffer that helped said I didnt owe anything. They are threatening to take me to collections over $18. Totally ridiculous.

The staff at Fitness 19 are nice and very helfpul. The gym is close to my house and it has everything I need to get a good workout. I also take advantage of the kids club. My grand children love coming to the gym with grandma.

Very convenient - hours are solid - staff more interested in talking to themselves than anyone that enters - in fact many people just walk in without checking in because greeting rarely occurs at the front desk

The staff here is so warm and welcoming, management is informative and very encouraging, the equipment is well-maintained, and the gym is super clean! Would definitely recommend this club!
