The Cheesecake Factory seems to have been very popular since its fairly recent opening. We were put off by long wait times, until we checked midweek when it was only about 15 minutes. Still busy, a full restaurant, but no long queue. So, off to the bar while we waited for our table. The one bartender was rushed off her feet, so it took a while to grab a drink. Why only one bartender? Now theres a question. Our table was in a chilly location. You really shouldnt need to wear a jacket in So. Cal, but its yet another place with crazy air conditioning. Looking through the extensive menu, we notice that theres no nutritional info except for some "lite" menu items. Listing calorie counts and other nutritional info is the law in CA for restaurants with 20 or more locations, so where is this information? A helpful waiter explained that there are some vegetarian entrees, and some pasta dishes can be made vegetarian. So, I order a veggie burger, my partner orders a veggie pasta dish. Warm bread is supposed to be served while waiting. Cold bread arrives. We ask for it to be warmed up, "no problem". 15 minutes and multiple requests later, it still hasnt arrived. We wait. And wait. Eventually, my partners pasta dish arrives. Apparently mine was taken by some other server, so they need to start a replacement from scratch. So, I still wait. My partner tries some pasta. Not too bad, but.... whats this? Bits of something we dont recognize at first, then realize theyve put BACON bits in a VEGETARIAN pasta dish!!! Major league screw up. We decide to leave, enough is enough. The manager apologizes and offers us cheesecake to go, which is a nice gesture. I almost bumped this rating up to 2 stars because of that, but the cheesecake was way too rich and had a "soggy bottom", so was really not worth eating. With all the screw-ups and law-breaking menus, one star it is.

This place was wonderful! Great friendly staff who we actually could have pleasant conversations with (even though the restaurant was extremely busy). We didnt feel rushed and even the staff, though it was busy, didnt portray that they were overwhelmed or annoyed. Beautiful ambient lighting. The food was delicious and decently priced. Obviously the cheesecake was perfect. I will be coming here often! It was an honor to eat here within the first week of its opening. The only con I have is that when we sat outside there were several times people outside of the restaurant knew the waiters in the restaurant. They would often call across the tables (includes ours) in order to say "hello" to the waiters & waitresses. This isnt the restaurants fault. However, every time the staff would call hello back and sometimes even hold brief conversations. This was distracting and broke the mood and theatrics that The Cheesecake Factory holds. It was as though I was watching a play and suddenly someone not in the play walks across the stage. I dont know how this can be helped other than informing the staff that if they are going to speak to their friends they should take them to the outside gate where they dont have to shout across the guests tables.

Came here for a lunch meeting as we do occasionally. Usually Cheesecake provides good service, good food and clean environment however our last experience wasnt so good. Before we were seated I see a waitress freshly chewing on something leaving the prep station behind the window and Im pretty sure they arent leaving their own food there so if your gonna taste test customers food I would suggest eating it whole before walking to the table or at least out of sight of our party. Secondly, the table was not clean. Dry food on the table and utensils as well as buttery/greasy fingerprints on the black paneling and crumbs on the seats. I would have just called it a fluke had I not just watched the busser brushing off the food from the another table and leaving it on the seats. All while training a new busser. I had to ask for a napkin and clean it all myself. I understand things happen but being a former waiter and busser at a 5 star hotel this is unexceptable and would have got me fired day one at my old job. So I hope my standards arent beyond the capabilities of your establishment. Wont return or even bring clients if I gotta clean after staff myself. Please dont be the place that ruins Cheesecake for me!

Went to the Valencia CF with great expectations tonight and was greatly disappointed. We arrived at 6:00pm was told 20 min wait for table. 6:30 our buzzer went off and we were seated at last booth by bathrooms. Anyway.. We ordered Mac n cheese ball appetizer which was good. Came out timely and warm. Then our waitress disappeared for a while. When she returned she said she would go check on our food, and came back with it. We had ordered the Monster burrito to share. It was luke warm to cold and the side of beans were cold. I rarely send my food back. But it was too cold to eat. She said they would make a new one and send a manager over. 20 minutes later... New burrito out, COLDER than first one, and so were the beans. We had to ask for the manager to come talk to ask at this point. He comped us our Mac n cheese balls and we were out of there... DISAPPOINTING DATE NIGHT!!!

Forty five minute wait not so bad. I ordered Asada and rice with corn. The wife had a salad and a coke. When I ordered a Budweiser the waitress looked at me like I was nuts and said we dont have that. I said its on the menu and pointed at it. She then came back with a Budweiser, kind of strange. We ordered hot spinach and cheese dip, I hear its great with the bread they serve. They brought out the dip but the waitress then told us they were out of bread. We ate it with the Tortilla chips they brought out. At any rate the food came, the rice and the corn were both stone cold. The steak was OK at best. I had really looked forward to coming here but had held off due to the place being somewhat new and very busy. My only question is why is this place so busy. Maybe they just had a bad day, who knows?

The worst customer service ever. i didnt even want to rate it 1 star. You wait more than an hour for a table. And they dont take reservations. You would at least hope service would be wonderful, especially with the name they carry "The Cheesecake Factory". My parents and relative waited to be seated and lost there table because they whole party wasnt there. Are you telling me if 90% of the party is there they cant save the table. And the 10% was parking the car. Really. then they are rude about it too. I hope saddle ranch next door doesnt have this type of service. I would not recommend anyone to go to the Valencia location, unless you buy your cheesecake to go. Horrible experience of my life.

Its beautiful and happy to have one in our Valley. 8 months and there was still a small wait but only 15 minutes for two of us. The food was good I wouldnt say great however we ate something that was not our usual in regards to the Cheesecake Factory. Our server was very attentive but forgot to bring bread plates with the bread and sugar with the iced tea. The young lady that brought our silverware did not place them down holding the stems but the part that would be going in our mouths, that gave me the heebie-jeebies. Perhaps they need a little more training. Overall a good experience but definitely need to button up the details.
