So I bought my wife a cut and color off Groupon so she could get her hair professionally done. Im not exaggerating when I mean "professional" either. We were in the market to find my wife a hair salon that she would enjoy and look forward to going to being that we just recently moved to the LA area. After reading the reviews of this hair salon, we decided to give it a try. Im happy that we did. She was looking for a hair salon that valued her opinion, voiced their concerns on whats best for what shes looking for, and above all, a friendly atmosphere where she felt welcomed and treated with the upmost respect and not like just "another customer." While patiently waiting and sitting in the hair chair for several hours with a bad knee, she hasnt stopped talking about the FANTASTIC service and accommodations that this salon and her hair stylist provided to her throughout the lengthy process. She was extremely pleased that the stylist was understanding and allowed her to stand up and stretch out her bad knee throughout the whole process without showing or giving any negative attitude or poor customer service due to her temporary physical disability with her knee. She mentioned to me that during her coloring and her hair cut that her stylist shared and showed her current progress to her fellow coworkers throughout the appointment. That to me not only shows the stylists best interest for her customer but also being a team player and being open to hear her other coworkers questions, comments, and concerns (not saying she needed them), but it was nice of her to have done so. My wife is EXTREMELY pleased and VERY thrilled to have her hair done by SHAWN and is looking forward to her next appointment. I tip my hat off to Shawn. Thank you for taking excellent care of my wife and putting a smile back on her face!! :)

I have been coming to Fringe ever since it opened on Lincoln Avenue and it has been a great experience. I have followed Diann for 20+ years to have her cut and color my hair. She performs her magic and I constantly get compliments. She always knows what to do next and I actually let her tell ME what I should have done next and what cut I should do. I LOVE DIANN and Fringe. My husband, Eric also gets his hair cut here by Clara and he loves her and what she does for his hair (and I do, too!) I will keep coming back. The atmosphere is great - the owner, Linda, is a really good businesswoman and everyone is personable. I use some of the products, too as my hair gets really dry between treatments. LOVE THEM - try them out - you wont be dissapointed! JennieLeeCrowley

BUYER BEWARE!!! Im very sad to be writting a negative review because I have never done that before! I usually just "suck it up". But, I really think people ought to be aware of this business shady practices. I purchased a living social coupon for a hair cut, highlights, conditioning treatment and blow dry. I booked with Alecia. She gave me a good cut, but when it came to the highlights, she wanted to charge me $40 xtra for "toner". I dont know about you, but "toner" sort of comes along with the territory of "highlights". I declined, but called the salon afterwards once my husband told me that I was an idiot and should have just walked out! Buyer beware!! This business is using social media as a LOST LEADER & ripping people off!

The salon vibe + people were amazing... What I wasnt impressed with were my highlights. I have dark hair & wanted highlights to brighten my hair for the summer. The lady I went to (which was recommended by the person who answered the phone) left a ton of space so when I walked out it looked like my roots had been growing out for weeks! Its nice for someone with dirty blonde hair but for someone with almost black hair- I dont think so! I ended up having to go to someone else a couple of weeks later because I couldnt stand to look at it.

Thank you so much Kenny for working wonders on my hair! He was so so sweet and took his time making sure my hair was perfect. Everyone there was extremely nice and welcoming. I got an ash brown ombré ish balayage. I showed Kenny the picture and he gave me exactly what I wanted! Im super happy and he even styled my hair afterwards. The total was only 155 it was super affordable! This is my first time getting my hair colored and Im so happy with how it turned out!

I love going to Fringe to get my hair done. Linda always gives me the best blowouts. My normally straight, limp hair gets the right amount of volume and is so shiny once she does her magic. Im usually not one to get compliments on my hair, but I find that after Ive been to Linda, I get many. I highly recommend you go see Linda for the best blowout in Los Angeles!

Fringe hair salon is a busy and upbeat hair salon. Marissa has been my hair stylist there for about five months. She is very classy and engaging. She is an experienced and modern stylist. She does great Brazilian Blowout treatments that tame curly hair. She also gives stylish and modern haircuts. Im delighted that Marissa is my hair stylist!

ome run! My hair stylist of two years moved away so I had to try somewhere new, always scary. Met Linda, decided to giver her and her salon a try and wow, I have never had someone get it right, cut and color, first time. My hair looks AMAZING! Cant speak for the other stylists but Linda is awesome. Thank you!

I had been admiring someone elses hair for months. Finally I asked who did it and made an appt w. Diane at Fringe. She gave me one of the BEST haircuts in my life and Ive tried so many high end salons in LA. Terrific gal, easy to talk to, reasonable price and knows what you want!

Ive been going to Fringe for a year. I love the vibe. All the hairstylist are very helpful with styling, product and beverages. My hair has never looked better. The color is rich and viberant! The cut is hip and Im always being asked who does my hair. I owe it all to Linda!

I love Diane!!!! I went to her about 3 years ago and hadnt had my hair done for 5 years because I disnt trust anyone to do a good job like my prior hair dresser...and my friend recommended her, and have.been.faithful since. Shes amazing.
