I like this shop, and i want to see them doing better, but it could be a lot nicer. Young cuts hair really well, and the price is great only $15.00, but his assistant is shy and she comes off a little rude. I took my friend there but he was turned off because they didnt accept bank/credit cards and because they turned off the lights and AC when its hot outside, the waiting area was cramped and uncomfortable as well. They had more space for the employees behind the counter then for the customers waiting. Also they were watching a channel that was depressing. Maybe playing top 40 radio would be more appealing. I hope this helps bring in and keep new clients.

Ive been going here for several years, even after moving away from Marina del Rey. Hes just that good! Im a guy who wants a simple business cut but whereas other barbers would buzz and clip me out in 5 minutes, this guy takes his time.... 10..15min. There is definite pride in his work, and it shows. There are no reservations and always a line, so expect at least an hour waiting during busy hours (weekends, after work). There is limited seating so one more reason to arrive early. Oh, and theres no AC... so maybe not the best place to sit accumulating sweat during those dog days of summer... after a haircut youll look like Chewbacca.

Mr. Young was amazing! The fact that he does not treat cutting hair as mere "numbers" as is very commonly done in this country is terrific. He treats it more like an art that I am used to back in India. Add to it the price, and his witty conversation. I am not going elsewhere!

Great haircuts for great prices. He goes above and beyond to get things right. Its $14 for men and i think $16 for women. Highly recommend. Just realize that there might be a wait since its walk in only. Have been coming for a 1 year.

The owner is a Chinese, and very experienced. Sometimes there are two barbers working there. I think the male one is more skilled.
