I love Taka, have since the moment I walked in. After trying four different places in LA and wasting too much money on crappy haircuts, I went to Taka based on reviews written online. Ive been a loyal customer for the past year. I got the best short haircut Ive ever had from Molly. She asked questions, gave advice and cut my hair with great detail and precision. Extra perks: everyone there is really polite and attentive and they have cool art on the walls.

Loved the color when I left the salon and really liked the service. The salon is so pretty and My stylist was really nice and easy to talk to. The three stars is because my scalp started to peel like its been sunburned. I think it was the dye being left on too long and/or having the heat on my head too high/long. Ive been to other salons and my scalp has never peeled like this before. It looks super gross bc its big chunks of peeling.

Just got my hair cut at Taka Hair Salon and its fabulous! I have beautiful never-dyed/permed/treated long long hair, which Im very fond of and very careful with. I hate going to salons because I have never been happy with the results... until now! Toshi cut my hair and gave me beautiful front layers. He got my hair lo...oking exactly the way I wanted it. Just perfect!

Sasha is an incredible stylist, I am so happy with my results thanks to her. From thick dark brown (no color), one length, un-styled hair, Sasha gave me shaping layers, with a balayage reddish auburn highlights, mostly her creative suggestions. This was my first experience at Taka. Jaymi gave me the best haicut I have had in my entire life. She was very polite and professional and very receptive to my ideas and comments. She also gave me some very helpful styling tips. I will definitely go back to her again. Thank you Jaymi.

Have had hair cut by Toru twice. Liked it both times. He is soft spoken, listens carefully to your request and will give his opinion when asked. He also gave me helpful styling tips. Staff is nice.
