My mother and I both have very curly hair, for which it can be difficult to find an experienced stylist. This past Mothers Day, I researched curly hair salons in the Los Angeles area and ended up taking my mom (and myself!) to Batia and Aleeza. We misjudged the time it would take to get there in traffic and arrived over half an hour late, but no one was grumpy with us about it. I believe we were both supposed to have our appointment with Aleeza, but because we were late, Batia helped out and the two women flitted back and forth between us. Everyone at the salon is warm and friendly. Batia and Aleeza both know what theyre doing when it comes to curly hair. My haircut and style were excellent; my moms were truly amazing. The best part may be that our hairdos STILL look great, even four months later. The shampoo, conditioner, and anti-frizz serum they sent us home with all work well, making them worthwhile in spite of the hefty price tag. An extra bonus: Sprinkles Cupcakes are right down the street. Save room!

These two never cease to amaze me. If you are looking for a good cut and more manageability on a daily basis do yourself a favor and go see Batia & Aleeza. Beyond the talented sisters, you are greeted and pampered by their great team of people .. from the sweetest washers ever, to their dry/style guru Sabla and the #1 Roni, you always leave feeling like a million bucks! I can honestly say that after 3 years of going there I get stopped on the street regularly and have people asking "Who does your hair? Its amazing". Through my travels I have passed along their info to random people in LA, Chicago, New York, Miami, and even India! Ladies.. its time to get on the bus!!! Also - dont cheap out on the products - that is the maintenance you need in between the cuts. They also carry this amazing Olive Oil & Honey Cream.. OUT OF CONTROL! Thanks Batia & Aleeza.. If you want your curls to go from nice to spectacular, Batia & Aleezas is the place to try. Ive been going there for over 5 years and have had my hair cut all over the world (Kuwait, Berlin, Hong Kong, London, Luxor, Jerusalem, Long Beach). Batia & Aleeza are the only ones who know what to do with my hair. I spend 3 minutes on my hair in the morning and am complimented almost every day; often by strangers. It usually takes me an hour to get to the salon and the haircuts are not cheap, but every time I try someone closer or less expensive I want to kick myself. I look younger and lighter when I get my hair cut at Batia & Aleezas. They are better than beauticians; they are magicians!

I love Batia and Aleezas salon -- it is the only place Ive found that can actually style my curly hair beautifully! Every other place Ive gotten my hair cut at, I have to promptly go home and re-wet my hair and then style with my own products. At this salon, I walk out with gorgeous curls every time, instead of a frizzy mess. I love love love the bio-herbal mineral sculpting gel -- and cant imagine using anything else -- its my new addiction. Batia also sets me up with the most wonderful natural conditioners to use for deep conditioning and at night too!

Although I live in New York City, I kept my next hair cut in the hands of Batia who was referred to me by one of their frequent client. I went there with great expectation because I was reaching 60 and I needed more of a youthful look to fit my fashionable lifestyle. Batia gave my hair a lighter tone, kept it long but with new soft layers to add volume. I felt young, sexy and still elegant. I highly recommend Batia and Aleeza Salon for anyone who is seeking a hair makeover or just to enhance their beauty.

Amazing hair salon. I want to come back just to get my hair washed, my scalp was properly cleaned, massaged, and I got a great scalp and neck massage while my hair was being prepped to be cut. THE. BEST. Well worth it, and inexpensive at around $80, versus those super expensive hair salons that charge upwards of $100 - $300. I love this place. They are so friendly, warm, honest without being rude. They give actual hair advice you should listen to. I came out feeling like a new person.

I really enjoy going to Batia & Aleeza. First and foremost, everyone is so friendly - Batia makes you feel like she just invited you over to her home. Second, if you have curly hair like me - this is the FIRST place that has made me finally embrace and love my locks. They even demonstrate to you how you can do your own locks at home. I get everything done here (CUT & STYLE w/Batia, COLOR & BLOW DRYs w/Seble). Great service and friendly staff.

I have naturally curly hair and its so hard to find a haircutter who can cut it and keep the natural wave. Aleeza does just that, shes a miracle worker! She gives the best cuts that last for months. she is the only person in L.A. who knows how to cut my hair. Go to this salon and youll go FOREVER!

Great atmosphere and amazing service. The sisters & owners made me laugh with their personalities and interactions. They even had chocolate cake to celebrate a clients birthday! If you are a guy with straight hair ask for Tomomi or Beatrice. I love my new haircut!!!!

Batia recently cut my 10 year old sons hair (a big deal since hed been refusing to get a cut for a very long time). She immediately made him feel very comfortable and proceeded to give him a great cut that both he and we loved. Well be back.

This salon is OK. Its not magic and certainly not perfect. Its expensive. Has any of these glowing reviews mentioned that? These reviews are obviously from friends and family of the owner. But thats nothing new for Google map reviews.
