My experience with this particular office is not all together good. They have lost mail in the past and I am now having an issue with the same thing and I cannot get a hold of them by phone. I went in there once with my cell phone ringing them and they never answered there phone the whole time I was in there and I had to redial after I got the "all circuits busy" recording. I even showed them I was ringing them up and they didnt even flinch. I will have to do some research and see how the BBB Handles these type of businesses. If they do handle USPS inquiries, then I will file a complaint and I suggest all others to fallow suit. I have called them repeatedly this afternoon, with no one answering the phone and it appears I will have to travel 70 miles to start any real search on this lost package, sent out from Sausalito.

This Post Office routinely leaves the phone off the hook so they dont have to answer it. Is there anything that can be done about this? Or do us peons just have to put up with the US Government acting like this to mere Citizens? I used to think it was By the People, For the People, and Of the People like I learned in High School Civics class but I guess since the Republicans, Democrats, Senators and Representatives shredded the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and The Declaration of Independence that doesnt apply anymore.

I am constantly disappointed with this post office. For seven years Ive paid hundreds of dollars a year for a business permit and yet my clients mail has often been delayed in getting to me...sometimes for months! No one seems to know how to handle permit mail. Step it up folks, youve had 7 years to figure this out!

The worse post office I have ever been to . I just moved from the city to Sausalito ! Escaped the craziness and am living it so far . I live in the hills and needed a post office .Emplyees are curt , unhappy unpolitical snctuslly rude sgrsdive amd tends to try to intimidate you so they dont have to work too hard

Several ( 6) checks were lost in the past. I got POB. Latest: my order was return to sender with the note that I had moved and didnt leave forwarding address. Is there are anyway we can reach somebody who can help this post office to improve their service? There are quite a few complains here.

I dont understand why people complain about the local Sausalito PO. Ive had nothing but great experiences and tremendous support from the local staff. Theyve saved me a ton of money on Flat Rate shipping. Where else can you ship 17lbs of steel across country for $7.15???

This PO is a perfect example of why the USPS is going bankrupt. Terrible service, with the kind of arrogance as if they are doing us a favor. Sorting is often days late, after tracking says our packages have arrived.
