Had such a GREAT experience at Sherman Oaks Lock & Safe. I had lost one of the 2 keys from "The Club" that I use to lock my car steering wheel. Its not a common key and I had already gone to OSH to try to get an extra one made from the only key I had left and they werent able to make one. I was feeling like I might have to buy a whole new "The Club". I looked up Sherman Oaks Lock & Key to give it another shot. I was greeted with a smile and a positive attitude which was awesome! He said it could take a while to find the right key and apologized but I was just pleased there was a chance he HAD the right key. Then he said you dont happen to have "The Club" with you? Which I did, it was in my car. After bringing it in, he found the right key within seconds and made one for me! $5.00 later I had my new key and Im walking out the door so happy and satisfied and as I walk out I notice hanging on the wall next to the door was a row of "The Clubs" they had for sale. I realized it would have been so easy for him to say I dont have the key but we have a new "The Club" to buy? I appreciate the honesty and kindness of this business and so Im recommending and giving the highest rating ;-)

Amazing place! They have so many keys and have all the tools to make duplication of any key. This place is perfect for someone who is looking to upgrade their security at home or office. I bought a couple of high security padlocks here that have been working flawlessly. I definitely recommend this place. Their employees are wonderful as well. Wish i can give more than 5 stars! I came in to this locksmith store to see if I would find some locks for my home and the guy that was at cashier attended me very well and gave me different suggestions to which locks would keep my home secure. Thank you, your locks were affordable and they defiantly work great. 2 thumbs up!

Non professional services ... Came 3 hours late to service appointment with no equipment to work ... Also they did not explain service fee over telephone but still tried to charge me an expensive amount ... The main company sent over contracted workers with no experience

Walked over to get a few copies of key...took my grandson & the 2 gentlemen working could not have been nicer. They made the keys in minutes & even gave my grandson a free minion keychain. Great experience...great store...definitely recommend & will return.

Very unprofessional. They are not transparent with their pricing before doing a job, as another reviewer has noted. Be sure to get a quote in writing before agreeing to getting any work done or you risk getting blindsided by hidden costs.
