I would be embarrassed to tell you just how MANY times Mid Cal has repaired my various cars over the years. Ive had many fender benders and freak accidents (like, for example, nearly tearing the door off of my BRAND NEW Honda Odyssey inside of a gas station car wash!). Gerald and Diana Young, owners of Mid Cal Body Shop, do impeccable work. They ALWAYS do more than is expected, like for instance, dealing with insurance companies to make sure I get factory parts and not knock-offs like so many insurance companies want their customers to use. (How do you think some companies quote unbelievably low rates? They put junk parts in your car!) Mid Cals rates are more than fair, especially considering the high quality of work they are known for. Not to be corny, and I have not asked them about this, but I believe they run their business along the lines of the "the golden rule": They treat each vehicle like it is their own. This way of doing business should not be extraordinary, but unfortunately, these days it is. So, if you want your vehicle restored to better-than-before at rates that are extremely competitive by a family-owned business whose owners you can trust 100% to do what they say and more, go to Mid Cal Body Shop.

We were at Crater Lake National Park on September 2nd 2016 and so was this companys official vehicle there too (see photo). While we were driving behind them we saw them throw a cigarette out of the car window. This company should be ashamed of themselves! They are certainly not representing their business well. If youre going to trash our public lands, Id rather your company stay out of them.

Dear Beth C; Gerald & I were at Crater lake, and the lake is beautiful. We do not know what you think you saw, however you did not see us throw a cigarette butt or any other trash out the window. We are both "Non Smokers", and we carry a trash bag in our vehicle. We have never smoked cigarettes. We love the beauty of the forest and protect it.

Mid Cal has restored my 1959 MGA 1500. The restoration is off the frame, ground up. It is absolutely beautiful. I have had other work done by Mid Cal and there is no cracking, fading, oxidation etc after 15 years. I do apply a hand wax every 6 months. You cannot go wrong by having Dianne and Gerald do body work on your car.
