Ive been going to James for over 10 years now. You wont find a mechanic that is more honest and reasonable. Ive recommend him to all my family and they now go here. He gives honest opinion and tell you that you dont need any other work done if not necessary. The only thing is, he has so many customers he get so busy that the wait might be to long. Ive take my car to different shops due to this but my experience with them are not good they arent honest and over charge. So I simply go back and appreciate James and the wait is very worth it.

James is great and does awesome work. Years ago I used to do my own work but cars have become more complicated and I am too lazy to learn, work and collect all the tools. I did have reservations about going to a pro mechanic though. I finally found James at Discount. He does great work, talks me though what is going on, gets good prices on parts and helps me make decisions about what I should do to balance cost and effectiveness. If I move the only thing I will really miss about the east bay is having a mechanic I can trust.

I love discount auto body shop. Met James about 10 years ago. Ive been a faithful customer ever since. James is patient with me. He gets the job done and is very reasonable. I can get my car in and out with a quick turn around because he knows that in order for me to stay working I need my car and I need it now. I will follow James wherever he goes, as I did from Oakland to Stockton. I may not be able to get to him as often as I use to but I will always go to him first.
