I have a part time job that gave hardly any hours to me. So I sought after a second, and was recommended to this place. Honestly I really liked this experience at first. I went right in and got a temp job, thats all they ever offer, but it was full time and three dollars more then my food service job. I was asked if i could stay over time if need be. Sarcastically i thought to myself, (What job ever pays overtime these days?!") I agreed. It was one that was new and interesting to me. A factory manufacturing job located locally. I was thrilled. I eventually was put in the receiving and shipping area. Now it being a temp job. I held on to my part time job; saving it for nights and weekends. I then started receiving messages from this temp agency to call them with haste. They claimed I was falling asleep on the job and leaving and not returning when I was making the call in the parking lot of the business. The temp agency even got my private information after I told the temp job two weeks prior that I needed a Friday off to go to court a car accident. Claiming that I lied on my application about criminal history which in fact asks if you have ever been convicted of anything. It was seriously stressing me out. After about 5-6 weeks they called me to let me know they let go all of the temps. I was surprised because my supervisor said I would be hired on. I told the temp agent i would go to see about it the next day but I was told I was not allowed to do that and I was to remain off the private business property. I was fed up and tired of being treated less than human. They expected me to quit my other job but when asked why quit a job that I have been at for 5 years for a job that hires a group of people every 3 - 4 weeks? Thats not job security. I can be surprisingly witty. Hoped i helped in your journey to find a decent job.

Upon moving back to the Westlake Village area after many years, I didn’t know where to begin when it came to the job search. I was introduced to Select Staffing through a friend and it was the best thing that has happened in my professional life. It was exactly two months from the day I submitted my resume to the day I was notified that I was hired by a very large pharmaceutical company in the area. Two months to land any job, let alone a job for a company like this is pretty remarkable and it would have never happened had I not found Select Staffing and Michelle Reuven. Job searching is typically a very long, emotional process that is exhausting both physically and mentally. Select made it just the opposite for me. The people could not be more friendly and professional. The companies that Select works with are among the most respected companies that anyone would be proud to work for. One aspect that stuck out to me was the constant communication. I never had to ask what was going on; I always had notification that my resume had been presented (and actually received) and what the status was. This is something that without Select, you will not get. In a world where most companies are receiving too many resumes to count, you really need someone fighting for you and that was Select for me. I seriously cannot thank Select Staffing and Michelle enough, I could not be happier!

I found Select Staffing through an online website upon my graduation from college and have nothing but great things to say about them. They were more than helpful in helping me land an excellent full time temporary job at an amazing bank which was just the kind of break through that i was hoping to get being a 21 year old fresh out of college. One of the things I really liked about this company besides the ease of getting started was the friendly staff and great opportunities available. I also think that Michelle Reuven, the person who assisted me from start to finish is part of what makes this company so great. This sweet, amazing woman helped me all the way through the process and thanks to her, I was hired on full time and have since been promoted multiple times! Thank you Select Staffing and a special thank you to Michelle!! : )
