Like many of the people who have written reviews, this place scammed me for a lot of money. Went in for a tire alignment and they had me sign the dotted line with a small quoted price then after they took my car for three hours, they call me and tell me they are "finished with the repairs" and that the total is $1k+. I didnt consent to getting these repairs done and they wouldnt let me have my car back until I paid AND the repairs werent done well, the check engine light is still on and the car still runs awfully. They practically did nothing to it. Awful place, terrible prices, friendly people is the only upside, but they will find anything wrong with your car, or even break something themselves while doing a "routine check" to get you to pay extremely high amounts of money for their service.

This is one of the rare shops left that will give you good service and quality work with competitive pricing. My family and I have been using this shop for years. I mainly do my own work because its cheaper but whenever Im too lazy or theres something I dont have the tools or knowledge for, this is the shop I use. I cant think of another shop in the South Bay that I would use over Torrance Auto Repair. Theyve done a great job servicing my 97 Accord and 02 Civic, my roommates 87 K5 Blazer and 93 Prelude, and my familys cars. They are truly a diamond in the rough.

Im a guy who has rebuilt 3 engines, replaced 2 transmissions, and maintains all my vehicles. I found this place about 25 years ago. They corrected a problem with my Porsche that even the dealer said couldnt be fixed. I even drove from San Diego to get alignments and other services. Ive gone to a handful of other sloppy places for convenience. But seriously, I havent fond another service center that could even touch these folks at Torrance Auto Repair.

Bad service unprofessional people .took my minivan for water inlet pipe replacement got the van back a day after just to find out major problems on it have to do entire cooling system which it cost me $2,000 and thats not the end of the story,this place its so bad I wont recommend it even to DONALD TRUMP.

Fast and Friendly Service - Needed a place near my job to get my brakes done. Torrance Auto Repair was the right choice. Not only were the open early enough for my schedule but they also worked within my budget to "make it happen". Would definitely return!

They told me I needed new motor mounts because all were bad. According to my other mechanic my motor mounts are perfectly fine. Tried to snare me for $1k in repairs i didnt need. Sorry, but I cant recommend any business of this kind that I cant trust.
