I drove up to get an estimate. Nobody approached me. They were too busy. So I tried harder to get someones attention. This guy didnt want to be disturbed. But I pressed on and wanted to get an estimate. He told me to leave the car there and requested that I wait in the lobby. I was there for 10 minutes approximately. Then it hit me that I felt I was being pushed aside. So I walked back and said how much will it cost. He told me that he had cars ahead and that somebody will inspect it. So I didnt go back to the lobby. I was doing some thinking because I did not want to waste my time if they dont have the time. Its early and there are many shops throughout Inglewood. So I pressed forward and said I just want a straight answer. He was too busy on the computer in the office that he budged the answer I was waiting for all along which was an estimate. This mechanic gave me the run around. I was utterly surprised that he would do this to me especially coming from latin descent. I told him I waited to long and I am no longer going to tolerate this bad customer service. He did not apologize at all which is what caused me to leave! This is not a way to treat a person wanting to find a go-to mechanic shop. the second star I have to leave it instead of my one star rating because the only reason I came back to this one is because another mechanic fixed a headlight issue in my car and treated me okay not excellent but okay because he was on his iphone talking to somebody as he worked on my car. i paid him and thanked him. the reason it finally a two star rating was because they are not aware that the customer does not want to be treated like a second class citizen. i did not see their undivided attention to me. shame because i wanted them to be my go-to auto shop because its nearby and seemed good.

Ricardo and his team was very helpful and accommodating when we wanted a last minute pre purchase inspection for a used car we were thinking of buying. They gave the vehicle a very thorough check and we were supplied with a list of problems and potential future problems that the vehicle had. Ricardo took his time to go through the list with us, patiently explaining everything and answering all our questions. At no point did we feel like we were being rushed out the door, although they seemed quite busy at the time. We ended up buying the vehicle and also got the existing engine troubles fixed with these guys. The whole process was handled very professionally and we feel a lot more knowledgeable now about our car and its requirements. Thanks again Ricardo and team for looking after us so well!

My car started smoking like crazy and I was very scared that I have to spend a lot of money to fix it. I started calling here and there and I was getting very expensive quotes for the repair everywhere. I called Universal Auto Service and I finally got a normal price for the repair. I also decided to buy the part I need - radiator , online and to take it to Universal Auto Service. My car was fixed in two hours with no problems for very less. I am very happy and I would recommend to anyone. They have the best prices around and I would say the best service - my car is like new again. Special thanks to Ricardo and Alfonso for taking care of my precious car!!

I just talked to Ricardo at Universal Auto. I learned more in a ten min phone conversation than I did from 3 different mechanics! The first place said they fixed the problem, but didnt do anything, next place gave me a list of more than 10 things they said was wrong, then one told me there was NOTHING wrong with it at all! So I dropped my car off at Universal Auto Repair at noon. They are still looking at it and he will call me when finished. So far only major repair is an oil leak and the temp gauge. I will make a final review when I pick up my car.

I was trying to pick up a Uhaul trailer at the dealer down the street today and the electrical for my trailer hitch wasnt working. So I brought it in to these guys and they found the problem super quick (someone had messed with my wiring underneath) and they fixed it at no cost! He said anything under a half hour was free of charge. Friendly and quick service. You never know what youre gonna get when it comes to mechanics, so I was pleasantly surprised by these guys for sure! Great service, I would come here again for sure!

I have never had such great auto service. Ive received incredibly individualized, quality service. I dont feel at all that I am being taken advantage of. In fact it is kind of an eye opener at how much my lest technician wanted to drain my wallet. Business owner is very pleasant and explained everything in basic terms that I could understand. He even told me of customer semjnars they plan on having in the new year. They even had up Holiday decorations which I thought was nice. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible service. It was like the guy had an attitude or something. I got an astronomical quote for something that does not cost anything near the price he gave it to me. These are the kind of people that want to take you for everything youve got, or so it seems. Didnt seem to be very helpful more so than he was cocky. No one needs that when they are trying to get their mode of transportation together. Dont waste your time or your money for that matter. All this place will do is raise your blood pressure.

Incredibly nice guys; great service - they treated me with genuine care and respect. My car was returned fixed and very clean. The repair was expensive but could have been very much worse - they worked connections to get me a good deal for the work that needed to be done. Very highly recommend. I would go back anytime.
