Bad place. i waited about three hours for a check engine light because every worker at this location are more worried about the sports game then DOING THEIR JOB. Very unprofessional. They told me they are busy that was the excuse for waiting so long. Well if they are busy instead of watching tv, wouldnt common sense say get in the garage and fix the cars. You cant fix the cars in the lobby with your eyes on the tv. These guys RUDE, inconsiderate idiots. These guys thought they were at a bar in party mode rather than professional. High on something if they cant figure out what they are suppose to be doing at work. I ended up leaving because if they cant figure out simple common sense I do not trust them working on my car. They might forget a bolt or two. They dont care about you or the job. They care about taking your money and making you wait hours when the task can be done in minutes. Poor management. Avoid for you life.

Made an appointment at 1pm for an engine diagnosis. Called to check on my car at 5pm and they had not moved it from the spot I left it in the parking lot. DO NOT BOTHER MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. There is obviously no point. Picked up my car untouched and unlocked in the parking lot. They lost the $89 for the diagnostic test, brakes check, probably the cost of a new alternator/labor, shocks, struts and my ride there and back was going to get an oil change and brakes check when we picked up my car. I understand places get busy...but why allow appointments? And why not be honest that its going to be 5 hours before we even look at your car? Waste of a day.

Went to Pep-Boys on Sepulveda for new tires, and was quoted $370. When I went to pick up the car, the bill was for $740. When I asked why the huge discrepancy, they had added in over $250 of tire rotation charges, valve stems, tire insurance, and other nonsense. In addition, the tires were not even the price that they quoted me, as I would have to mail in a rebate to recieve the quoted price. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told that he was "unavailable". I waited for 30 minutes to speak with him, and he never became "available". What good is a price quote if that is the price that you are not ging to pay?

I was really surprised when I saw such bad reviews because I have always had amazing experiences at this location. I used to go to the Pep Boys on PCH near Harbor City and they were always busy so I found this location and I was pleasantly surprised with the service. The woman that works the front desk holds great conversations and relates to the customers to make you feel comfortable. They completed a shock/strut test on my vehicle for free because of the wait. I feel comfortable leaving my vehicle with them and know they are making honest decisions about the maintenance of my car..

Horrible!! Twice I have made an appointment with this location and twice they didnt put my name or info into their system. Then when I tell them that they took my info they tell me I can wait for an hour to get a simple oil change. Even if I "had the appt" I would still have to wait an HOUR til they would see me! What is the point of making am appointment if you have they wont put you in the computer AND you still have to wait at their Stinky shop for an HOUR?!? Not good. Not good service at All.

I came in to ask about replacing my cars starter. Either to have them replace it or buy the part to do it myself. Eitherway to my surprise, non of the staff on duty where able to determine what part model my car needed and only gave me a range of cost that could be with out a specific and also they have to order the part. My car is not an unusual type is a Honda. I dont know much about car parts and ordering but seamed to me that itnwouod be a very simple part to find. Hope next time

Absolutely hate this Pep Boys! I went there for them to fix a flat. I got the worst customer service. I waited at least 8 or 10 minutes just for someone to come to the service desk. Then was told to come back after five. They acted as if they didnt want my business. I went to Just Tires next door. Not going back there. Going to the one in Redondo Beach.

Came in for a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change that is suppose to come with a tire rotation. Theres also a "30 minute guarantee". Took 1 hour 15 minutes and they did not do the tire rotation. It wasnt busy at all. They cant honor what they say they will do so why trust them with your car. Dont come here.

Horrible customer service. I bought battery from pep boys and gave my phone number to register battery for warranty purposes. When I went in 1 week after purchase battery to discuss an issue they cant find my registration. Horrible organization!!!

Only new cars accepted. If you have a used car, the fat ass head mechanic will lie to your face why your car cant be repaired! It is not really a repair shop, it is more like a maintenance shop. DO NOT TOW YOUR CAR THERE!

I got sent from just tires to pep boys. I need a tire repair. A freaking hole in the tire. They told me it will take two hours because they only have two guys. I see 4 lazy mfs smoking cigarettes.

I came here to get my front brake rotors re-surfaced and was very happy with the work. These guys know what they were doing. Highly recommended.

Helpful staff, lots of parking, and there is a garage where they will do oil changes and tire replacements.
