My car was over heating so I looked up the closet shop to my apt they were one of the 3 and seemed to have decent reviews so I took my car to them. I get there just after 9 am on a Sat. and explain the issue with my car. They pop the hood and it turns out to be the water pump. No Biggie I ask how much this repair and parts will cost and they quote me $474 + tax. I say ok then call my brother who is a mechanic out of state and he informs me that the parts should cost not more then $75 for the water pump and thermostat (that was his ball park guessing high figure) he also informs me that this job should take no longer then 1 hour to complete as it is a really EASY repair). So he calls to inquire how much they are charging for the parts and labor. Durlis tells him the parts are $158 and the rest is Labor costs. Long story short I went to Auto Zone bought a water pump and thermostat which totaled $67. I go back to Drulis where they let me know they will charge extra to install the thermostat I tell them not to worry about it I will have it replaced later. I walked out of there spending $158 on the labor costs (they were under the hood for less then an hour). I will take my car else where in the future and avoid them at all costs. So not worth the threats that my Auto Zone water pump will fail in a year (gotta love a lifetime warranty) and the other misc grumbling I had to endure while waiting on the repairs to be completed.

Have been taking my cars here for years. Steve Drulis and his band of mechanics and car magicians are honest, hardworking and incredibly trustworthy. Theyll tell you whats wrong and also let you know when theres nothing wrong, just typical noises for a 20+ year old car (I dont know a thing about cars, so any noise is relatively bad in my mind lol). Would recommend them to anyone
