He didnt fix my problem. He continued to try and up sell me on more services instead of trying to snake the line to try and clear it. I paid him to snake the line already. He didnt clear it. He wants me to pay him again for a second attempt? When I questioned the price and up sell he became hostile and threatened to take legal action against me. I paid him the remainder of what I owed him just to get him to leave my property immediately. Yelling at a plumber on my front lawn is not my ideal summer morning. I will not be using him again. His minimum is 3 times that of any other normal plumbing company. I should have checked his reviews on yelp. I would have never called him if I had. You should do so yourself. There are multiple Richards Rooter and Plumbing because he is trying to avoid all the negative reviews that are floating out there. Update: He called me and threatened to take legal action against me regarding this review. I also just had another plumber at my house 3 hours later and they were able to unclog the pipe within minutes and charged me a fraction of what Richard did. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION Everything he said in his response below is exaggerated and blown way out of proportion.

I could not have had a more positive experience. We had a plumbing emergency, which 2 other plumbers could not solve. We called Richard, and he showed up within an hour and fixed the problem, and ended up charging much less than the other the other 2. I would also add that while another plumber tried to move me into a much more costly and destructive solution, Richard quickly dismissed that option and came up with a much better way of solving the problem. Hands down I would go with this plumber.

I had two plumbers in before Richard.My water heater pilot light was out and no one could restart it So no hot water. Both plumbers said I needed either a very expensive part or a brand new water heater(minimum 1400).In In ten minutes Richard figured out that my gas was off He reset it in 2 minutes. Brilliant, he was so smart and fast,he saved me a fortune. It was amazing! I will never call another plumber and he gets my highest recommendation. I will recommend him to everyone I know. A Brilliant experience!! Richard came to the house and literally solved the issue within minutes of arriving. He was positive, friendly and since I know nothing about plumbing--he took me step by step through the process of fixing the situation. Not to mention, I called at 5 o clock in the evening on a Friday and he showed up an hour later. If I were you--I would not look anywhere else for a good plumber! Do yourself a favor and call these guys. They are honest and better than the rest!!!

I have used Richards Rooter and Plumbing for years. He has a quick response time and is always professional and knowledgeable. He completes work in a timely manner and always cleans up afterward. His prices are always lower than other plumbers. He did a full re-plumbing of a re-modeled bathroom, replaced toilets and a garbage disposal, installed an instant hot water heater, repaired sprinkler main lines, replaced a hot water heater and found and repaired a leak in a gas line. 5 stars.

My Sewer line and Kitchen sink drain all backed up all over the first floor. Thankfully Richards Rooter and Plumbing services was and is near and available 24/7/365. The water heater was leaking and the water was draining into a sump pump that broke down. Apparently the Sewer was backed up with tree roots. Richard is the best Plumber and Plumbing Contractor that I have ever meet. He is very knowledgeable about the Sewer and Plumbing code. I would recommend him to everyone.

Richard is the best plumber I have ever used. He is extremely professional, fair, competent and polite. He responds quickly to calls and texts and always keeps his appointments. I had 3 other plumbers try and work on a problem that I had w/ no luck, but once I called Richard, he was able to fix the issue that day. His pricing is also more than fair. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber. He is the only plumber I will ever use again.

I had a great experience today with Richards Rooters. After having an expensive and seemingly unreasonable quote from another plumber, I called Richard. His great reviews and website looked promising. I was very pleased when he was able to schedule me in right away for the same morning and quickly fixed the problem, really going the extra mile to provide great service. Amazing integrity and saved us a lot of money! Highly recommended!

AWESOME...PROFESSIONAL...PROMPT! Richards Rooter and Plumbing is by far the best service I have used for plumbing needs in LA. Richard came out on the Fourth of July and only charged $59.00 to clear a bad blockage in my main sewer line. He was very knowledgable and courteous. I highly, highly recommend him. Please call Richard and get the job done right. I am in awe that he came out on a holiday and charged such a fair price.
