KARI IS FANTABULOUS!!!!! Let me start by saying that I had already read wonderful reviews about Kari and was expecting to not get in to see here until some weeks later. When I called to make my appt they answered the phone almost immediately and the girl on the other end was extremely friendly and informative. I got an appt for that very evening! I was greeted upon entering and was offered a beverage which I thought was nice. I was new to getting my hair dyed and was looking for someone that knew what they were doing and listened to what I wanted...well Kari did just that! I told her about my previous experience and explained how after getting partial highlights only twice caused my hair to look dull and my ends to split horribly. She took the time to look at my hair and its damage and we discussed what colors to go for next, she made wonderful suggestions and made sure I was on board before doing any type of mixing, she took her time foiling my hair and chatted with me the entire time. After I had finished processing she took her time in giving me a blissful scalp massage, wash & rinse. She gave me 1" trim just like we discussed not a length more, then came the moment of truth, I have a lot of thick, curly hair and she styled it gently and efficiently, no other stylist had handled my frizzy unruly hair so well before. The color was beautiful as was the haircut and I love how Aveda doent have that awful chemical smell, Kari is worth every penny and Ill definitely be going back!

I have been going to see Heather for a couple of years now and I love her! She gets five stars in my book but the scheduling is like pulling teeth. Usually its not so bad that I am able to put up with it but the last couple of times have made me start looking for a new place to get my hair cut and colored. I always ask for a late appointment because I work a 9-5 job and the first appointment she offered was for 11:30 a.m. Its frustrating that it takes so long to make an appointment because the girls dont listen. I dont know how much more clear I can make myself when I say, "When is her first opening at 4:30 or later?" Then I get put on hold and someone new picks up the phone and I have to start the process all over again. Not worth it. Also, I love Heather but it is getting more and more difficult to make an appointment with her, which probably tells you how great she is but it is becoming an inconvenience for me!

Ive been to this salon a couple times before and I adore my stylist there, Megan. That said, poor Megan needs to find a different place to work, because this salon is awful in every other way. Recently, I called during business hours to try to make an appointment and no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail with my name and number and my call was never returned. Today, I tried again and again, no answer (at 10:30 am on Tuesday morning). And now their voice mailbox is full, probably with messages from other "customers" that were also completely ignored. Im sad Ill have to find another stylist, but its not worth the trouble, effort, and frustration to bother trying to make an appointment at the Aveda Centre Salon.

I see that a lot of the other reviews are year or more old. This salon is great. Theyve clearly addressed any issues they had with service. Ive been twice, and both times have been able to get an appointment on short notice. They ate very welcoming, offering tea and water while you wait. And the prices are reasonable. Im paying half what I was at my old salon. Most of the stylists are young, so perhaps not as experienced, but theyve done a great job on my hair so far. The first cut I had with Alicia was one of the best cuts I ever had on my long straight hair. I trusted her enough to go back and get a pixie cut when I recently felt the need for a dramatic change. Its a great place and I will definitely go back.

I had the best service at Centre Salon and Spa. When I walked in the door I was offered tea or water and my stylist was waiting to take me back. The stylist name is Teall and she did a beautiful highlight and lowlight. Not to mention my hair cut was perfect. She was very quick but totally knew what she was doing. I have gotten so may complements and have sense sent my friends and family to Teall and got free Aveda shampoo and conditioner. What could be better than that? I love Centre and I love Teall. I will be a long time client and everyone needs to try Aveda at Centre in Arvada.

I was a last minute appointment for Carmen (on a busy Saturday)! Even though she was presumably exhausted she was amazing! I have hard-to-manage wavy/curly hair and had a specific style in mind. Carmen not only talked me through the cut and what she was doing she took her time explaining to me how to style it and make it look great! After my cut she even spent her time with me trying to find products that would work with my hair AND my gluten allergy (which was time consuming) and I never felt she was pushing me to buy something just to make a sale. I highly recommend her!

It was my first time going to an Aveda salon. Also the most Ive ever paid to get my hair done. I asked for an ombre coloring everything went well but when I got home I noticed it was very patchy and not blended well at all! I had to reschedule an appointment the next day to get it fixed. She fixed it but where she went over with the color again, those spots are alot lighter than the rest of my hair, one problem fixed but another one created. So over all not a good experience and will most likely never return to an Aveda salon.

These folks know how to treat a client. One of the best haircuts I have had in years without it costing me $100 (mind you it is a pixie style cut). Hillary did an amazing job and is very professional but relaxed at the same time. First time guests get $10-20 off your first visit and they offer free clean-ups if you are in need of one without having to get a haircut that youre not ready for. I will definitely return.

Ask for shannon!!! Shes always so friendly and amazing at hair! I feel beautiful everytime she colours it!!! I have a colour in mind Ill tell her about and I feel like she steps it up and makes it more than I expected. She also recommended conditioner for my hair thats really helped it from being dry and frizzy to soft and smooth. Thank you so much shannon for the amazing hair!!!!!

Arrived at 4 for a 4:15. Was told at 4:05 that the appt was delayed until 4:30. Came back at 4:30 and must have put on an invisibility cloak. I watched two stylists take a chair to fix their own hair. Nothing. I left at 4:42 and recieved an extremely annoying call at 4:55 saying I did not come back and did I want to make another appt. The answer is a definite NO.
