I am the type of person who is very picky and particular about how not only my hair is done but how my nails, feet , eye brows and massages are done! Every time I have been to this salon Ive had above and beyond service in all areas! Im always offered water, tea or even hot tea when I arrive! I have not experienced anyone that works at the salon to be rude; actually they are very welcoming and they have fun here! My hair is done by Kim! Yes she is the owner but foremost she is a very good stylist who takes great pride in her business! Never in the 4 years she has been doing my hair have I experienced any type of attitude from her! I have mixed hair (black/Italian/Irish) and this is the first time Ive had my hair done and it isnt fried! I get the Brazilian Blow out to! I still spend money at this establishment because I get what I pay for and then some! I will ALWAYS come to this salon! I recommend you stop by! This is by far the BEST salon Ive been to. Trust me when I say I wont be looking for another salon! I already have the best taking care of all of my needs! On a side note... I disagree with the negative reviews because Ive experienced the best at this salon! Go give them a try and trust me you wont be disappointed

Essence rocks! Ive been a client of Kim, the salon owner, for 3 years now after meeting her at a local fundraiser and liking her vibe in addition to a neighbor referring her. Never had a bad haircut and thankfully always get a solid haircut from Kim, despite possibly boring her by always requesting essentially the same style every time (Im somewhat finicky about my hair so maybe that keeps her interest LOL). Always dig the scalp massage, the complimentary ice tea and snacks and the easy banter shared with Kim. I feel the higher sticker price for a mens cut by Kim is justified because shes predictably good every time, offers a swanky salon thats inviting and relaxing but without stuffy or stuck up attitudes and her location is perfect for me being so close. This place is the best salon in Evergreen hands down.

Essence was perfect for my wedding! As the bride, I did a trial hair do and then my entire bridal party, my mom, and my grandmother came in the day of the wedding to get our hair done. The top floor of the salon is amazing for the bridal package! Everyone gets mimosas, snacks, chocolate covered strawberries and the entire salon was so nice. We couldnt have asked for more. Even with our big group we were are able to fit downstairs, have hair we were really happy with, and had so much fun. Thank you Essence (and Kim! my hair was perfect)!

OMG Love this place! My hairdress/owner Kim is amazing! Ive been going to her since 2000 (when we both lived in CA) and she has NEVER dissapointed!!! She always knows what looks best on me and I dont have to worry cause I know my hair will always look great. I almost cried when I found out she was moving out here because I hadnt found anyone in CO that could do what I wanted with my hair. Love Kim and anyone she would have work for her would be awesome too, the fact they work with her should be recommendation enough. =D

A month or two back, I went to get a spray tan and Serissa was the one who did it for me. I am body conscious so it was great that I felt totally comfortable and there was absolutely zero judgement from her. I was also in a medical boot at the time which she left it up to me on how to go about tanning with or without it on. She did a fantastic job and was very kind and I highly recommend her & Essence Salon. I am getting my hair done tomorrow so I will leave another review for Mackenzie once I am all done.

North Evergreen Spa! Did you know we have a great spa right in Evergreen? We do! A friend of mine recommended this place, and I decided to check it out... I was amazed at how cute this place is... hair salon on the main floor, then massage, facials and nail salon upstairs. The colors are warm and relaxing...and the spa robes are so cozy!! I had a massage and then a facial...incredible service so close to my house! Will definitely be back.

This is the best salon and spa in Evergreen. Great North Evergreen Location and Great Prices. I purchased a mini spa retreat for my wife- she had a massage, pedicure, facial and hair cut/style for just $100! She LOVED every minute and I got the best hubby of the year award.

Went to have my hair done and waited 30 minutes before I was seated in the chair. Kim, the owner, was rude and didnt follow my direction. They really need to learn customer service.
