I signed up so I could get familiar with the equipment. Unfortunately I only knew how to use the treadmill when I signed up. The sales rep set me up with a free hour training session. When I met with him I told him that I was really interested in using the machines and that I just wanted to learn so I can use my membership successfully and not set myself up for "failure". Long story short, I was in work out gear, ready to learn the equipment. He tells me that I need to stay away from the machines and only do a 5 minute cardio session, then hit the STRETCHING STATION and do SQUATS, PUSH-UPS, SIT UPS, AND PLANKS! (I am not joking) then when I tell him I signed up to learn the machines he says "Oh you dont want to do that, the machines do all the work for you"...! THEN WHY THE H*LL DID I EVEN BUY THIS MEMBERSHIP IF I CAN DO ALL OF THIS AT HOME IN MY PRIVACY! Then he was trying to charge me 400$ to set my up with him! So I finished the stupid squats and planks and b*llsh*t and I left not thinking to much of it. Until I told my friends and they laughed at me.. welp.. I never went back . And now they are trying to take me to collections. When I tried to resolve the "contract" and let the manager know what was going on over the phone, she didnt care and basically said its my problem. Luckily I joined a GREAT gym and I now know how to use the equipment and Ive lost some fat and gained muscle .. I have such a bitter feeling towards youfit. Ew.. (and when I was stretching and doing that Bullsh*t in the 1 hour training, the girls at the front desk kept staring and gossiping to eachother . It was awkward as heck.. dont go . You guys have so many better options where people wont judge you or take advantage of your money.

I shouldnt be surprised by their propensity to want to screw people over, this is a corporate gym. However, that doesnt prevent me from being upset and wanting to warn others to not fall victim to their scams. I initially signed up for an awesome deal for personal training and was pressured into purchasing more training after my initial 12 appointments. I wanted another 3 months of appointments which I was manipulated into believing expired after my payment last month, unfortunately in the fine print I didnt have the chance to read while Ricky, Ponytail guy and my trainer were standing over me, I still needed to cancel my training 30 days in advance. So now I have to pay for an additional month of training for a gym I no longer belong to. Otherwise, I was disappointed in how dirty the womens bathroom is, the trash is always full and there is grim and dust on the tops of the surfaces. The staff is rather rude, I requested a call from a manager and it took him over a week to call back. If they sign you up to receive text notifications you will get five or six in a row, they call non-stop for promotions that only cost you more $$$$. I would rather take my business to planet fitness, at least they dont try to make claims that they do not follow through with. Oh yeah, and I was told for the first 4 months of my membership that classes would be happening in a few weeks, only in the past month have they gotten more than just a yoga class. DON"T USE THIS GYM

Asked to look at the club walked around with girl who rushed us through the club, sat us down tried to sell us a membership. She did good job showing us the club and answering our questions until I specifically asked about cancellation policies. She went and got the manager he came out and introduced himself asked typical closing questions and then asked why we didnt want to join. I asked for his cancellation policies he started rattling them off and I said ok can I see those in writing. His response was no not until you buy a membership. I said I just want to read them in writing before I sign. His response was NO! you cannot read them until you sign a membership. I said well if your not willing to let me see them in writing because no offense you may not be here when I need to cancel I just want to know for sure what the written policy is. I obviously cant trust that your being honest with me and will not buy a membership from you......So I drove up the street to Tru- Fit and bought a 1 year Paid in Full from them because the club was bigger, had more equipment, wasnt as busy, and when I asked for cancellation policies not only did they show them too me and go over them with me. They also gave me a blank copy to take with me and my contract I signed with them. I would never recommend this club to anyone because its obviously full of Untrustworthy people starting with the General Manager. I was Very Disappointed.

Please do not do business with these people. It will be a huge mistake!! Canceling your membership is extremely difficult. As I attempted to cancel over the phone I asked to speak with a manager. I was told the manager was in a meeting with a member. So I drove to the location. Took me all of two minutes. As I walk in I witness the manager (AKA Jimmy) and another employee having a leisurely conversation. Lol. Of course. I asked if I could get his managers information. I was told I could not. We continue through the cancellation process. As I am leaving Jimmy had the nerve to ask for a $10 cancellation fee. Which I refused to pay and you should too. What are they going to do about it? Management at these places suck. There is no customer service. Which is probably the reason why theyre rating is an F with the Better Business Bureau. I suggest taking your business to 24 hour fitness. Where are you know they have an upper management that cares about customer related concerns.

BEWARE Youfit makes it difficult to cancel your membership. If you are a procrastinator, they WILL try to prey on you. Was a member at this location for ~1.25 years, but only really went regularly for 3-4 months. Class schedule was sparse and did not fit my work schedule, so I never got to attend any classes. Employees were nice, and I never overheard anyone making rude comments about women or obese patrons. Equipment was usually free and in good condition, easy to use. However, this gym doesnt have some amenities Id like to have in a gym environment, like micro usb chargers for my phone and accessories, wifi access, or a convenient place to fill water bottles. In addition, tv and loud music are usually forced down your throat while youre there, which is kind of lame. Will be setting up a home gym and yoga area instead. :)

The weight-lifting area at Youfit is less crowded than the weight room at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center, Youfit has more benches, bars, etc., and the fees at Youfit are lower. The Youfit weight equipment is also much better than the equipment at Planet Fitness in Lakeside on 44th. Youfit has a large number of treadmills, ellipticals, and other fitness machines. The staff are consistently cordial. The only drawbacks are that most of the clips (clamps) for the bars are lacking their rubber grips (I have arthritis in my wrists), the electronic control pads on the treadmills are unresponsive, and the music is often an enervating mix of emotionally needy teeny-bopper tunes. But the attendants will switch to classic rock if asked. The problems are minor, and Youfit has become my go-to fitness site.
