Shady practices. 1st they require a routing & bank acct number as primary pymt. Wont take credit cards as primary pymr like rest of world, so I had to open a whole bank acct just for them. Then remember to refill the bank acct once/month just for them. I forgot to baby them one month. So I went in to pay in person by cc. Ive done it before just fine. They guy tells me he cant take cards. Soon after that they call to tell me theyve added a late fee! By that logic they can add a late fee arbitrarily anytime. I paid in full yesterday inc their arbitrary $10 late fee addressed after they refused to take payment as well as a $40 annual fee they claimed was waived when I signed up at their grand opening sign up drive. That was the main reason I signed up with them over other locations or competitors. So I just paid $70 & $50 of which was ill gotten gains to put it lightly. The night staff guy last night said hed have the mgr contact me during the day today regarding the late fees assessed after refusing payment. No contact or outreach was made by them. Zero. Also, while I was showering this morning, a staff member asked if I needed help in there! Wtf?! Creepy AF. Im quitting this gym asap.

Planet Fitness is located in a nice new building with lots of shiny new equipment. Employees are very friendly. For a small extra monthly fee, there are water-powered massage chairs, beds, and recliners. The signage seems intended to encourage beginners, which is fine. If there is a drawback, it is that the weight equipment is limited — not in quantity, but in design. There are no true bench press stations. Benches must be pulled under racks where the bars are mounted on cable-assisted vertical rods. In other words, the bars "weigh" less than 45 lbs. There is no definite way to tell how much assistance is being given by the cables. Also, the machine doubles as a squat rack. Incline benches are mechanically attached to the seat end of the bench so that as the vertical incline increases there is a proportional pinching effect on, well, the crotch area. (See photo.) This probably bothers some patrons more than others. In summary, experienced weight lifters may prefer a gym where the equipment is more standardized.

Could be a great service and gym. However the air is never on. They told me he guy has been cleaning the ducts (the gym has only been open 4 months) for the past month and they might not have it on for another two months... When its near 100 and people pass out for hear exhaustion Im thinking theyll finally turn it on. Its unacceptable to walk into a gym on a 50 day and sweat while youre changing. I dont like hot yoga and didnt sign up for overly hot gym. **I did reach out to management who assured me it wasnt broken or an issue. Yet, here on a Friday early evening and you sweat just changing before a workout... And the staff cant touch the temperature controls period. The manager can and he will be here m-f 9-5 so moral of this gym is dont come outside of those hours unless you prefer to consistently roast. Maybe you guys should charge more for a hot workout.

I generally like the staff here, and i have been coming to this PlanetFitness since it opened without any issues. The facility was clean, the staff was chill but, I had an very obnoxious visit last night in which an employee continuously came up to me and insisted I was dropping weights, I explained that I wasnt and showed her that WITH MACHINES and weights, noise happens and when you add more weight onto the smith machine, it makes noise, and even when you dont have weights on the smith machine its still loud. This is all happening while, another person drops a bench laughs and the lunk alarm goes off. She didnt even say a word to those guys. Needless to say, Id rather go to an older facility then deal with her again.

I cannot believe I have to leave a bad review for this place.The facility is nice and the staff is usually wonderful. Tonight I was greeted with such rudeness. My boyfriend and I have a black card membership together. We got it that way instead of separately so we can use different locations and use the hydrobeds. Weve never had a problem with it. However, Georgina, and older woman refused us entry into the beds saying its a "privilege we didnt pay for." EXCUSE ME!!?? WE HAVE YOUR HIGHEST LEVEL MEMBERSHIP. My next call will be into corporate. I dont appreciate it when people think they can have an attitude with you and get away with it. I love that gym too much to worry about getting such horrific service there.

The service I experienced here was absolutely pitiful. The woman with the german accent was incredibly rude and it seemed like she wanted to make things difficult for me during my visit here. Service beforehand hasnt been too great either. Will never come to this location again. The Colfax location by Casa Bonita has amazing staff members who make you feel welcome. If youve had bad service here, I suggest that location!!

Theyre great TIL you try to cancel. Red headed goatee man will Then make fun of your attire, And tell you happily "you have to cancel at a different gym." But much like the classic super Mario Brothers no matter which gym you drive to, you always need to go to another gym. "Im sorry Mario your gym cancellation is it at another gym. " And like a Jedi mind trick it works!! "oh ok Ill drive there then "

Guest services attendent was rude hopefully its just a bad day and not how she treats people all the time. Abb section could be designed better a lot of machines no one uses and little usable floor room. The showers could not stay a constant temperature and the hooks for your towels are not properly installed so they flip upside down dropping your towel on the floor if your not careful.

The rude staff definitely gets this location an F! The rude German lady is the worst one , but the majority of the staff has a bad attitude when you ask questions or for help. If youre not there to assist and serve the customer to the best of your ability, you should stay home!

Black card membership is a lie other then the gym you join you can only use other gyms 10 time then u pay.
