So far Im relatively pleased with the performance of the two attic fans and exhaust fan I had installed in my garage. The fans do seem to move a decent amount of air through my house and help cool it down. Im still experimenting with which combination of windows to crack open to get the best result to cool down my house. A few items I have been a little surprised with is how quickly my house warms back up after the fans shut off. I was told that it should take about one hour and fifteen minutes to cool down my house from the days heat - which is fairly accurate. However, the cool air I brought into my house during that time typically disappears, and my house warms back up within an hour after the fans shut off. I guess the secret is to have the fans running all throughout the night to prevent this from happening. Another question I asked before making my purchase was if the fans tend to draw in allergens from outside. Chris mentioned that in his 30 installs he has not had any customers mention this happening. In my first few days with these fans, I can safely say the fans do indeed draw in pollen and allergens from outside. Ive noticed myself being congested and having a running nose when I run the fans. A final thought - I wish the three gentlemen who worked on my house (Chris B, Dylan L and Cory M) did a little more of a polished job in the clean-up process after the installation was complete. Im of the school of thought that you should leave someones home or office the way you found it. There are several series of dirty fingerprints on my walls and on each of the access panels to my attic. There are a few new holes and what appear to be scrape marks on my walls from wahat appear to be a screwdriver or drill that missed their mark. Most disappointing is the manner in which the control switch was installed in my garage. They did a subpar job in having a finished look to the switch cover because there are holes remaining from where they cut the drywall away to install the control plate cover. I guess for $8,700 I was expecting a more polished job rather than me having to break out the spackle and touch-up parts of my walls with paint. It makes me a little concerned if the six roof vents they installed on my roof will eventually leak over time. In summary, Im pleased with the performance of the product. Im super bummed that the fans do bring in allergens from outside. But most of all, the reason for my three star rating is because the installation crew left me with several clean-up and repair projects I have to contend with that were not a result of my doing, but rather a result of their doing.

2017 Update: Joe D. came to do the annual inspection of my equipment. He was terrific! Worked steadily and was friendly, well-spoken, and very attentive to keeping my pets indoors and out of crawl spaces. He explained everything he did and what the various service plans cover. I appreciated that he took the time to do all that was needed and not just the specific thing I had scheduled. And it was all included in my service plan. Great service! 2016: Kevin and James did an amazing job on my air conditioner / air handler replacement. Kevin carefully explained my choices and answered my questions with knowledgeable detail. The price he quoted was competitive with other providers. Unlike the others, it had no extra charges for the complicated logistics both inside and outside, including extra permitting requirements because I live in a historic district, having to go through shrubs and fences to locate the outside unit, and having to disconnect and reconnect large ducts in the crawl space. Kevin even consolidated my separate heating thermostat with the new one for the AC so I dont have to have separate devices on the wall -- a thoughtful choice. Kevin and James both worked steadily all day and were pleasant and polite to have around. They were careful to avoid the area where my cats were sequestered so I didnt have to worry about doors being left open or them getting into the crawlspace. Everything was completed in one day, there were no unexpected charges, and my house and yard were left clean and with all fences, gates, and doors closed and secure. I had kind of been dreading what could go wrong with this big job and this was a very pleasant surprise. I would strongly recommend them to anyone that needs a new AC.

I started my day with a smaller problem of two leaky faucets and decided that Id also get my drains snaked at the same time. Like another reviewer, I, too, got a lot of problems noted on the assessment by the plumber sent from Precision. A $600 estimate to deal with the presenting complaints, but after the full assessment, I was given up to a $8000 estimate for a list of other things including: re-piping and replacing our pressure valve, replacing our 9-year old water heater, and installation of a whole whose water filter after alerting us to a high level of chlorine. Unlike the other reviewer, however, I felt that I wanted to just take care of the issues noted as well as get the filter. My reasoning includes peace-of-mind. Id rather be drinking and using filtered water. I dont want to suddenly find out that my water heater, pipes, or pressure valve failed. Yes, Im sure I was talked into more than I was originally planning for. Much of that is expected in almost ALL service industries, and on most counts, its a better idea to follow the expertise of a professional. So the short version: probably cost more than Joe-schmoe plumber, but security and accountability are worth that. Tyler and Paul were patient, thorough, and polite. Highly recommended if you have the cash to pay for this quality service.

I was really impressed by the courteousness and professionalism shown by Ethan and Jonathan! They were polite, honest and gave straight answers when questioned. They gave me options and gave the pros and cons of each AC unit that would work for our house. They guarantied a complete cost for the unit, installation and parts. When they showed up to put it in they informed me that they were unable to get the unit we ordered because it wasnt in stock. To further my amazement, Ethan told me that since it was out of stock and they had already quoted us a price that they were going to honor it, so to not inconvenience us and follow through with what they said they upgraded our AC unit with no price adjustment! I was floored, so we got a better AC then we had anticipated! I will be continuing with Precision for the life of this home and with whatever houses I have in the future! They are really amazing and have fantastic service! I agree that the prices might be higher then others that do a similar job, but you absolutely get what you pay for! I have done some housing construction and know quality work when I see it, as opposed to just scraping by to get the job done. In my heartfelt opinion they were more then worth the extra money we paid just for the fantastic service and professionalism!

I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the consistent high end service and support I get from Precision Plumbing. Im about a 20 year long satisfied customer and service package client and wouldnt consider looking elsewhere. Their annual service check ups keep me humming, and when Ive experienced the occasional issue with either my boiler and winter heating or with my evaporative cooler, theyve been right there to address any problems. I was out of town and returned to a slow leak in my heating system, called after hours, and had the technician, Eric Sharrer, out right away to address my problem. He was not only on top of getting my problem quickly resolved, but also on his way over had put a preemptive call into the Restoration company whose services he thought I also might need. Talk about soup to nuts service. Eric was not only very experienced and knowledgeable about my complex radiant heating system, but was a real pleasure to engage with. He gave me information on other preventative measures that we might decide to take as well. All in all, you just cant get better service or support.
