I didnt even take my car in, and I would absolutely never recommend going here. I called for a quote to have my brakes serviced, and I specifically asked if I would need to bring my car in or if this is something we could do over the phone. Ive never had to do this before, so I wasnt sure about the process. The person I spoke with, John, said we could try to do it over the phone since I had been previously told by my dealer that I needed a replacement when I went in for a routine oil change. Now, I admit I am not at all car savvy. So when he asked whether I had disk or drum brakes, I said that I honestly had no idea. He very rudely told me this was a big difference. And while Im sure it is, this still doesnt change that fact that I didnt know what the answer was. I asked if it would be possible for him to quote me both prices. Verbatim his response was, "Yeah, but its a waste of my time". I started to reply that if that was the case to never mind, but he hung up before I could even get all the words out. Clearly this isnt a company that is interested in helping customers or generating business. If this is how they treat prospective customers before they even make it in the door, I cant imagine how they treat their actual customers.

I had my wifes car in for some work, when I recieved the car back one of the things I wanted done (spark plug change) was overlooked. When I ask about it I was told "you werent charged for it so you can drop it back off and we will do it". I personally did not want to have to go without a car for another day. So I will do that myself. I had new wiper blades put on and the first time my wife used them they popped off, after she called me I ask her to stop by there so they could fix it. When my wife showed up, the kid told her that "I didnt want to deal with it". The thing is, I was 8 miles on the other side of town, plus I already paid you to put new ones on. He fixed them, the next time it rained they popped back off, so I bought new, good ones and installed them myself. But the reason for me writing this review is the way the PUNK decided it was OK to look my wife up and down, not once, but then another time. It really creeped her out. I will say he is lucky she wont tell me who it was, I would love to teach him a lesson in respect. Its the reason why so many women avoid these types of places. I have tried to stop by and talk to the owner about it, but I get so angry that it would be best if I kept my distance, and my money.

Ive been with ACCR for at least 20 years and I have never been disappointed with anything theyve done. They are a great group of people who care about quality in what they do. I truly believe they are not trying to keep or bring in new customers, its just they are so good that once someone experiences the compassion they have and the customer service they provide; the honesty and integrity with which they work; you cant help but want to come back and tell your friends about them. As far as Im concerned, when it comes to any mechanics working on my car and truck, it will ONLY be ACCR.

Academy Car Care has worked on my truck twice, mostly recently they got the truck in on an emergency situation with the electric system, and returned the truck to me in the early afternoon. They are a totally-pro, service-oriented garage, and they have an A+ rating with the BBB. I dont think Ill ever need another garage. When you are spending hundreds of dollars, sometimes over $1000, you need to be able to trust the people youre doing business with, thats Academy Car Care.

i owned four successful repair shops in california for 11 years. the man (cal) who runs this facility has the same principles that made us a success. he is honest and makes sure that each customer is happy, and each car is repaired properly the first time. i highly recommend you use academy car care. when a shop is busy (like this one) it is difficult to make small talk, so let him get busy fixing your car and dont take him away from his busy day.

I could be bias, but I dont think so, considering that SureCritics rates Academy Car Care at 4.9/5 stars out of 799 review to date. I am Cal Masseys son and I can tell you stories about Dads consistancy in his generousity and integrity. His goal is to satisfy each customer, every time. Are they human? I know more than most, that yes, they are. BUT their core convictions are consistent and they do phenomenal work at an honest price.

After taking our car there a few times for repairs, Cal charged us $60 to tell us the battery was dead. Im not saying that they arent good mechanics, but it seems a little ridiculous considering most places will do that for free, it shouldnt take an hour to figure out a battery is dead, and we were repeat customers. Key word being were. Well be taking our cars elsewhere from now on.

The folks at Academy Car Care and Repair have done great work for me every time Ive called on them. They know their business, they are professional, and they are honest. Ive learned that they always give me the correct advice. I asked for a check of my brakes on one of my vehicles, and they told me that I had plenty of wear left, and to bring it in again in 6 months to a year.

We have used Academy Car Care for over 12 years and have found them to be totally trustworthy, highly skilled, and friendly. I have never known a more honest shop or one with more commitment to serve their customers. It is great to be able to leave our vehicles there and know Cal and his team will provide the very best service that fits our needs.

Diagnosed the issue on day one that I had been having with no resolve from a previous mechanic. I have since brought three other vehicles in and received the same great quality service, customer care and satisfaction. They are my repair shop now and I wouldnt think of going anywhere else. And the fact that it is family owned is an added bonus.

We have had them work on several cars over the last 10+ years. We have never had a problem and never felt we were asked to have them do work that wasnt necessary. They solved a problem in one visit that the dealership hadnt been able to figure out for a couple of years. These guys are true professionals!

My air conditioner was not working. Dealership wanted $1495 to replace gasket. Took to Academy Car Care and they filled the conditioner, suggested I drive for a while to see if it leaked. Have been driving most of summer, even on long trip and it has been working superbly. Thank You.
