Though I have tried going to other barbers in Denver that are closer to where I live/work, I keep coming back to Kurt because he gives the best cut at a great price. Ignore any unfavorable reviews; theyre just complaining because he doesnt do walk-ins (as stated on his website). Personally, I like the fact that I can just shoot him a text and hell respond to me in a few minutes to let me know what slots are available. Single-chair barbershops like Kurts are the epitome of small, local business. This isnt Super Cuts, where you can just walk-in whenever and expect service. Kurt devotes all of his attention to a single customer, one at a time. In a world of inhuman commercialism with no personality, Kurts Cuts provides something few services do nowadays: culture.

I happened to need a haircut while staying in Denver with a friend. I found Kurts Cuts by simply looking for a shop in the area nearby. What a great find! With the Google Coupon in hand, I showed up for my appointment rather curious, having read the details on his website (a true barbershop, etc.). By the time I left, I knew that Id be telling everyone I met in Denver about this place! Kurt is friendly and professional, does a great job, and the prices are great. In fact, I shared the story with my host upon returning from my haircut. The very next morning a friend of hers needed a trim and she told him about Kurts, based solely on my experience. Kurt now has two new repeat customers. Ill be stopping in the next time Im in Denver!

Kurt isnt messing around. Hes not the most personable barber Ive ever had, but hes focused and thats fine by me. I spent 24 minutes with Kurt and in that time I got a buzz job, he trimmed my beard and he shaved my face. He did an excellent job! I got a shampoo and scalp massage, hot face wrap, and then a electric massage of my shoulders, all as advertised. I feel like he took his time and worked out minor details. Kurts was private, quiet, comfortable, a desirable experience for sure, and no gimmicks. Im only in town for about 6 months but Ill make it a point to get back here as many times as I can before I depart Denver.

Kurts place isnt like any barber Ive ever been too. His shop seats one at a time in a small office of a Victorian style house. It was a little hard to find and it has an unorthodox style, but its more than just a haircut. He uses hot eucalyptus towels to soften and sooth your face and finishes the haircut with a back massage. It was totally unexpected when I was just looking for a quick haircut, but it was worth it. highly recommended. Ill be back in a couple months.

Hands down the BEST haircut I have ever had! Kurt knows what he is doing… I was new to the area and wanted to find a local barbershop. Kurt’s seemed like the only authentic one around. I have been going there ever since, with high expectations, and never been disappointed. You get the royal treatment (haircut, shampoo, hot towel, and neck lather shave) all for $19 (I think it is $10 for first time customers).

Tried out Kurts today after having a bad last experience at Fantastic Sams. I was very pleased with the job and would say that its the best haircut Ive had in a very long time. The price was very reasonable for the service you get and I found Kurt very responsive to both texts and a phone call unlike the 1 star review mentioned. I will definitely be going back. First time coming here only in town for the weekend but I really need to cut Google barber shops around me this place was the first one have many good reviews decided to make an appointment. Could not be any happier love the service friendly atmosphere the back massage along with a hot towel on your face and shampoo was perfect on point I love the attention to detail

Great hair cut and experience! Have gone to angels and alfansis (sp?) And am rather particular about my fade and he nailed it! Great fade and the shampoo and massage were super relaxing and great and you dont get that at the other places. Same price as alfansis but you get a better hair cut and the shampoo and massage. Highly recommend!

I like this place. Its a bit further walk than Floyds, but I get a good haircut, neck shave, shampoo, and massage for $15. I ended up paying $21 at Floyds for nothing more than a buzzcut. Here, when Im done I can walk out and not have to worry about going home to rinse little hair clippings out.

I highly recommend Kurts Cuts Barbershop. The service was great and anyone who just follows the rules (text name/time desired to setup appointment, wait for confirmation or next available time, ring the bell when you get there, then wait) will have an excellent experience like I did.

Kurt not only does a great job with your hair he makes sure you are comfortable the entire time and doesnt shy away from going the extra mile. Ive been looking for a skilled no-nonsense barber for a while and am happy to say I finally found what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Kurt isnt the friendliest or most welcoming person, and the vacuum-attached trimmers feel like Im getting my hair cut by a weird aunt. Ive been a few times, and every time felt like I was inconveniencing Kurt by getting my hair cut. Would not recommend, especially for the price.

Ive been going to Kurt for 5 years. Awesome, quality cuts, very personable!! He puts whatever I want to watch on tv, talks to me, and its an overall good visit! The straight razor neck trim, hot towel and massage are nice touches!! Great service!!!

I just had a haircut today and it was a wonderful experience. To say it was just a haircut would be incorrect. Kurt provides a hot towel, a flat razor back of head shave, and a massage at the end. All for $20. Keep up the good work Kurt!

Just had my first cut from Kur t- great experience and a great cut! All the guys out their that just go to _ _ _ _ clips, you must come here. You cant beat a cut from a real barber and Kurt is great. Thanks Kurt.

Total Jerk. Guy always has BS times and acts like a pre-madona. Doesnt answer phone half the time, makes you wait like 3 hours.
