From start to finish, service at the salon has been impeccable, warm and genuine. This includes everyome from the receptionist to the stylists. The skills of the staff are also top-notch. Heinz Salon is THE salon Ive been searching for since moving to Denver, and im a convert. I cannot recommend this place enough! I first came to the salon to fix a botched diy dye job (never ever attempt to go blonde at home!), and on a scale of one-to-disaster, my hair was full-blown disaster. Jen was amazing, patient and attentive towards me, saving me from my awful 4-coloured hair. Finishing off, the talented Michael, who himself booked me in for my appointment, gave me such a fun and edgy haircut because my ends were terribly damaged from all the processing Ive put it through in the past year. On top of that, Heinz came by to chat with me once at the start and again towards the end. Their service alone on my first visit was enough for me to rate the salon 5-stars. However, Jen personally contacted me barely an hour after I left the salon and offered to have me come back the very next day to get my hair colour even more blonde/platinum because she wanted me to have exactly what I wanted. Michael was also equally generous at offering to give me an even shorter cut if wanted it, based on my earlier indecision. This was above and beyond what I would even expect at any salon! Not only did Jen accomodate me in her packed schedule the following day, she also took into consideration the time factor that would allow Michael to style my hair when she was done with the final touch-ups to my colour. Both of them were so dedicated to giving me the most stellar experience, and i was so impressed! When I turned up, Heinz himself approached me and offered to cut my hair shorter to better highlight my features. He had seen me leave the day before and fretted my hair was not as perfect as it could be for me. He is absolutely a hair maestro who strives for perfection and doesnt want his clients to have to settle for anything short of the same! Everything the staff at the salon had done was so thorough, considerate and incredibly detail- and service-oriented. Jen, Michael and Heinz took pains to every small detail, bleaching, toning, cutting and styling my hair so meticulously. The end result is the most beautiful hair Ive ever had, customised perfectly to my features and skin tone. I cannot stress how lovely my hair looks. My husband and friends are simply blown away as well! Heinz is without a doubt my HG salon.

Great haircut; antiquated business practices. This was my first and likely last visit to Heinz. The staff were friendly and the haircut I received was great, but when I went to pay for the haircut I ran into a slew of problems. First of all, in an age of mobile payment processors and easy access to point of sale software, this place is in the Stone Age. They dont accept American Express, which, whatever, but they also wont let you add a tip to the credit card receipt. They ONLY ACCEPT TIPS IN CASH. When I explained that I dont carry cash, and neither do most of the people I know, she suggested I go across the street to an ATM MACHINE. I came back later to pay the tip in cash, and very nicely suggested some feedback to the manager that they find a way to add the tip to a credit card. She decided it would be a good idea to argue that is costs them a mere 3% on their tips instead of just taking the feedback and forwarding it to someone higher up. Lets do the math here shall we? Heinz asks its customers to go across the street to another establishment with an ATM and pay something upwards of a $3 fee for each withdrawal, while they callously try to explain to you that the 3% fee on your $6 tip is too much for them to pay. So in summary, I am expected to pay ATM Fees that are 8% of the entire $40 haircut just to add a tip, when this business isnt even willing to spend literally 18 cents (which is the 3% on the $6 tip for a $40 haircut they are already paying processing fees for) to add remotely any convenience to its customers. Completely ridiculous.

I booked hair/makeup appoints for myself and my daughter for my son, her brother, wedding. Coming from OOT, I found this salon on online and chose it for their rapid response and close proximity to where we were staying. We needed some pampering and the staff did just that! Michael did my hair - fantastic job! I think it was Tyler who did my daughter. Heinz himself came by twice to check on us while we were there. I think Michael was a bit disappointed he didnt get to cut my hair; trust me, if I lived in CO, Id have him cut and color my hair away!!! Danielle did a wonderful job on our make up. I asked for natural and thats what I got! My hair didnt fall and I didnt mess with the bangs. I didnt even touch my face or rub my eyes... We both looked pretty and spectacular when we left!

I feel so smug for having found Heinz. Trained by Sassoon he has a masters feel for hair, an artists eye for style and a good psychologists ability to encourage adventure. He teaches his staff well so if he has been flown to LA to do someones wedding, you can be sure of getting a fine cut and Danielle, his colorist, will make you love yourself. On the practical side, he wants you to come in after 3 or 4 weeks to have your neck and ears freshened if you have a short cut - for free and with no appointment. This salon is a treasure.

I got my hair cut at Heinz salon today and went from my long hair to a short A-line cut. Nikki cut my hair to look even better than I hoped for. She had excellent communication in finding out what I was looking for in my hair and asking all the right questions to make sure I would be happy with my new look. Nikki did a great job and I highly recommend her but to be honest all the staff seemed highly trained as well. Tons of customers were walking out of Heinz Salon with great hair today.

I highly recommend this salon. Heinz is an extremely skilled and professional stylist who does precision cuts and takes the time to assess and understand how your hair grows and what you want. He mentors the other stylists too. Michael does a great job. Danielle is a wonder worker with color. The staff is professional yet laid back and there is no hard sell for products, which I appreciate.
