The good: good quality paint, good coverage, overall good job. When the work started, it was conducted quickly and efficiently. The bad: paint spots got on the new hardwood floors. The workers tracked dirt around the house on freshly steamed carpets. There was a very long lead time before work started after the contract was signed. The whole thing was quite expensive (well above most of the competition), yet they still nickeled-and-dimed for things that werent in the original scope of work but shouldnt have been a big deal (eg, shutters on the front of the house). There were the veiled threats about holding me totally to the contract even though no work had started yet, after I inadvertently signed the e-contract not realizing that it didnt include the full scope of work that I wanted (and Im not talking about the shutters here... that really wasnt that big a deal, but I was put out that they refused to consider just painting them when they were such a small thing, because it wasnt written specifically into the scope of work. What Im talking about is the entire garage. When I asked about getting out of the contract because I hadnt realized that it wasnt included, thats when the veiled threats came.) That last part is my own fault, admittedly... but a company with real customer service would be willing to work with me sans veiled threats. Overall: Good quality work, pretty poor service... average rating.

The Good: We had a pretty good experience from start to finish. Scheduling was a breeze. Miguel was attentive and on top of things, he even gave us his cell phone number for direct access. The painters should up on time, and were also polite, attentive and the experienced. I was a little nervous that they were only a two man crew to paint our largish house with walk out basement, but they handled it like champs. Unfortunately, we did have some concerns about flashing and the splochyness. To be fair I would most attribute it to the recent hot weather. We called the Project Manager to explained our concerns, and without ANY fuss he made it right. The foreman came out to observe on a SATURDAY, came up with a plan to resolve and worked with the painters to make it happen. The bad: Not much. I would say that my largest frustration was the lack of detail on the front and back doors. The previous paint job on our back door was horrible. It was our hope that there would have been more time with the clean up of the old paint, sanding down the blemishes and then paint. Had I known in advanced that this would not have been done, I would have done the clean up myself, prior to the paint job. In all fairness, I did not ask about this in advance. For us, this was a minor issue and are very happy with the job overall. We would recommend Patriot to our friends without hesitation.

UPDATE Aug 2015 I called and left messages three times for the owner and he never called back. Paid a friend to paint it for us and it cost us $185. Guess there isnt a four year warranty after all. UPDATE 4-YEAR WARRANTY- July 2015 We had our house painted two years ago with Patriot who offers a four-year warranty. We sold our home this month and have a closing very soon. There is peeling paint in a couple of places that the FHA appraiser noted which will have to be repaired. Called Patriot a couple of times and have yet to hear from them. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW First off, let me say that Isaac and his crew did a great job painting our home this past week. They worked very hard to make sure that they did the right job and asked for feedback along the way. They were friendly, happy and great to work with. There is a bit of a communication gap between the sales estimator, the office, and the crew. While these things can be expected sometimes, it caused a bit of confusion at the beginning of our project. The manager cleared up the issue and in the end it wasnt a problem, but communication could be a bit better among the three legs of their company. I wouldnt, however, hesitate to give my recommendation to their company. I would suggest that you make sure to have everything from your email correspondence clearly indicated on the contract to avoid confusion.

What a great company! After getting quotes from multiple paint companies for our large project (entire inside of the home we just purchased), we went with Patriot (lead by the amazing, Miguel). Their price was really really fair and it was clear, this company was truly professional and equipped to deal with a project of this size in our window of time that was pretty constrained. We are absolutely thrilled with the completed job and their teams (team captain Oscar and also Jorge- amazing guys) who worked on the house were really kind, attentive, courteous, happy & skilled. I was also so grateful to be able to work with Charissa, who is a designer and their paint color specialist, as well as Ralph, who was team leader during my project and afterward. Ralph even brought over a paint kit basket filled with organized mini cans of my colors plus a brush and mini rollers- for easy future touch ups I may need having 3 kids and a dog. Thank you so much to everyone at Patriot Painting.

We were looking to paint our house which was overdue for a paint job since we moved in 4 years ago. The team at Patriot was very prompt in returning our calls, did a thorough estimate of the job, and answered all of our questions. Their bid was lower than all of the competitors that we also contacted, yet we still feel like we got the same level of service/quality. We also appreciated the free color consultation to help us choose a new paint color. Our crew, Eddie and Antonio were very friendly, did a very thorough job of cleaning up after themselves, and were thorough in the walk around to do touch-ups as needed. The new paint has made a huge difference and our house looks great! We continue to receive compliments from neighbors and would highly recommend using Patriot Painting!

I called and told them the dates I needed painters and they told me they were available. The house is under contract so we had to have our realtor there to let us in. We cancelled other painters to make space for them and waited 30 minutes for them to come as they were out last appointment. When Greg came, he told me they were booked 3 weeks out and were not available on the days we needed. He then told me the schedulers dont even have access to their schedule. It wasted our time and theirs. Next time call people that actually care about your time. If they dont care about your time, they will not care about your house.

My wife and I just used Patriot Painting to repaint the exterior of our house after a bad hail storm. We were incredibly impressed with the professionalism of everyone that we dealt with and were extremely happy with the end result; our house looks brand new again! I really felt that Patriot exceled beyond the competition in their level of service and extras they provide. The even have a “color consultant” come out and offer recommendations on colors. I would have no reservations whatsoever to hire them again for any of my painting needs.
