This is a big, busy do it yourself car wash with 6 manual bays and 2 automatics. I never use the automatics, so this review is just the wand bays, but I use them about 120 times a year. Generally this is a high quality site, with staff frequently on-site to help out if something is wrong. However, with a site this busy and complicated, somethings possibly going to be wrong--you can see that in the other reviews, which generalize a damaged piece of equipment to the whole property. This equipment gets a lot of unattended use, and stuff goes wrong, kind of how it goes. The reality is not simple, but deserves recognition: They use quality chemicals. They typically have the boiler running hot water when they have to (winter), but I wish it was all summer too. Its got good pressure and the controls are simple. It looks tired but the equipment is pretty fresh and functional, and well-maintained. They do try hard. Price is fair for the land, which is expensive. They offer a better product than nearby competitors at Alameda & Colorado and Alameda & Clinton for sure, but not as good as Colfax & Hudson for the price.

I spent 20 minutes trying to get my card to turn on the equipment. First I tried the auto wash, then the hand wash, then another hand wash bay, then back to the auto wash using a different bay. When I finally gave up I tried leaving via Holly, not realizing I was exiting over a curb, thereby damaging the underside of my car. To add insult to injury, when I arrived home, I checked my bank account and saw that one of my attempts at the auto wash debited my account, despite my never entering the bay because the sign at the bay entrance never flashed that I should enter. Only once out of three or four attempts on different days have I successfully been able to use the auto wash.

Definitely satisfied with the automatic bays, and the prices are good. During my last visit I had to swipe my card multiple times to get the reader to work, and then ended up seeing on my bank statement that I was charged twice. Although this was an annoyance, I was impressed with the very easy refund request process- just had to fill out a quick form on their website. I received a voicemail within a couple of hours of submitting my request, apologizing and letting me know my refund was being processed.

I stopped in to use their service and after using my first $5 in quarters I decided to opt for the option to pay with plastic. After following simple and clear instructions I got the green light, or so I thought. Im guessing my card was charged the 5 or so times I swiped it but still no service. I called the phone number listed a few consecutive times only to get a voice recorder. Sorry, but I dont have time to wait for a call back. I guess Ill have to finish this at home.

What a joke. CC machine is just a swipe with no panel. So cant add more time without starting over and paying the $4 min again. Plus the first one I tried never worked so I had to switch bays. Then the brush doesnt have any clip so it lays on the ground getting grit in it and being in your way. They have 3 swiveling overhead attachments so they constantly tangle with each other. So you waste time unsticking them. Its a disaster. Sad!

Its a horrible car wash would rather have kids was my car with dirt than spend money here. They have horrible prices. But hey, if you have a bunch of money you dont need go wash your car here. Usually $5 is enough to wash my car at any other locations but here i was only able to wash my front bumper. The equipment is good but the price is horrible.

Simply doesnt work. Got change for $5, put in 8 quarters to start. Spent most of the time trying to get the spray nozzle to work on any of the 15 unnecessary settings. Water/soap only trickled out. Ended up leaving with soap on my new car. Awful location.

My favorite coin op, self service car wash. Hot water and plenty of pressure. $4 gets me enough time to thoroughly wash and rinse my car. Two coin op robo-wash stalls with options starting at $7. Often busy, but the wait times arent too bad.

Find somewhere else.... Went to the automatic wash. Clicked the $7 wash and it charged me $10. Dryers were also not working, car is dirty again. When I try to call the number it says the number is busy.
