You could call me the overly obsessive type when it comes to cleaning my car. So before moving to California, Blue Wave was my #1 choice when it came to getting the job done. Washing my car is therapeutic for me, so I prefer using the self-serve bays. I also used to think that automatic car washes dont do as good of a job...but thanks to Blue Wave, I was proven wrong (well get to that later). When they say "high-pressure", theyre not lying. Ive tried many different car washes in my day and none can compare to the water pressure that Blue Wave provides. Bye-bye bugs & dirt without having to scrub?? Thats what Im talkin about! The fact that plastic is accepted was huuuuge plus for me. Not only because I didnt have to go digging for quarters and dollar bills anymore, but there was no timer that screamed at me when I got down to the last 60 seconds. As I was washing my car one day, a cute old Asian man (whom I believe is the owner because I used to say hi to him all the time), offered me a coupon to try their automatic car wash for free the next time I came in. A couple weeks and a couple snow storms later, I came by to use the coupon and I was pleasantly surprised at out clean my car came out...even with layers of dried up dirt and grime from the slushy snows of CO. *Two thumbs up* Oh how I miss you, Blue Wave. I have yet to find a car wash even remotely comparable to you guys out here in SoCal. The city of Thornton is lucky to have you. All in all, this place is everything a car wash should be. Well done.

This used to be a good car wash. Then, the undercarriage wash stopped working. I had taken my car to be washed there for the past three months and it never seemed to get fixed, but the rest of the wash was still decent. I went last Saturday to get my car washed again. The unit on the right was not working at all so there was a long line for the unit on the left. I paid for the $9 wash. My car was sprayed, then covered with the soap foam. No water came out for the rinse cycle, and then the wax and dry functions worked. The result was that I had a foamy, waxy mess dried on my car. I had to go over to the self-service wash just to clean up the mess and pay an extra fee to get my car only somewhat clean. As others have mentioned, there is no way to get in touch with the owner. I will avoid this car wash and take my business elsewhere in the future.

TL;DR All hands free carwashes suck, so stay away from this one unless your car is particularly clean. Vacuums last a while and the carwash is usually packed on the weekends so wash during the week. I live near this place and is really one of the only car wash that is both hands free and hands on. Of course there are some gas stations nearby that have hands free carwashes, but Im not a hands free kind of guy. Reason being that every handsfree carwash that i have been to does not meet my expectations. Including this one. If you want a really nice deep wash, do it yourself. SPECIALLY since this handsfree wash has no sort of physical scrubbing on your car. It is all just water shooting at your car. There is also asign that says no heavy mud washing.

Stopped in for a wash on the 17th, there was a car ahead of me. I paid for my wash and when the car in front left the machine never realized it. I was never able to get the wash I paid for. Repeated attempts to reach the owner at the number listed here which is the same one as on the building got me a the mailbox has not been set up for this number message. The phone never rang. Avoid this place, if you have a problem your only resolution will be calling your credit card company and filing a dispute with them unless yu paid cash then you are out of luck.

If I could give this place one star, I would. My truck was filthy from a recent snow storm and I took it here to get a nice wash. The touchless car wash system is so touchless that it doesnt use water. Amazing... Dont waste your money. My car is just as filthy as it was when I went in. It did make some neat water run streaks with the mud and dirt, though.

$10 for a WATERLESS wash. Had to go to another car wash to manually rinse. The contact phone number must be a joke because no answer or way to leave a message and no way to contact the owner on the website. Will never go there again!!! 12-1-14

Worst touch less car wash ever. $10 for half a wash. Meaning half of my car was sprayed. No soap/foam at all. No call back after multiple attempts to get in touch with the customer service number. Waste of money and time. Dont go here.

The "owner" saw me using tire and wheel cleaner that I bought, he didnt want me to use it at his location because it stained the concrete according to him. And no muddy vehicles. 500 dollar fine

Nice car wash! When i leave that car wash my car looks like it brand new thats what i love about Blue Wave! I wash my NISSAN 350Z eveery week and Blue Wave is where i go!

Was no hot water at this location. Cost 10 buck for a basic self clean. What a joke 500 bucks if you have mud... then why would I go to the car wash dip #^@^
